Whoohoo, we have Reaper's version of Shub-Niggurath! Nice price for Her too. Definitely a unique take on Him, as most versions make Her look like a dire Flying Polyp. Oh my, it looks does He has dangling teets, at least four, possibly eight, though symmetry is no guarantee on Her.

I'm going to agree with JackMann on that - the asymmetry of the faceplate works well for me

It is whatever the creator wants the golem to look like. Personally I love the Prepainted plastic one from Paizo

I am kinda irked 5E sets the Iron Golem CR so freaking high. Have to make a few custom ones at lower CR tiers.

Woah, Reaper is adding and revealing stuff an an impressive pace right now.

I'm loving Izzy's naga concept art, and I also really like the iron golem.

I do feel kinda bad for the four bandits who will almost certainly be made to serve as the warm-up encounter on the way to Castle Stoneskull, and then cast aside as the PCs focus on the mad alchemist's minions inside. Maybe they can score a recurring role as low-level minions on the inside.

Looking at part III, it's a mixed bag of excited and meh.

Hooray for naga (goes nicely with the titan), golems, vegepygmies and merrow. But the thugs in heavy armor (I'll nickname them the Hobgoblins), feel out of place with the rest. Feels like they should've been part of the core a long time ago or part of an extra with others.

And my Cthulhu will finally have a pet goat! I figured that "thing" we saw at Reapercon was Lovecraftian, but couldn't say what.

Edit: Just noticed the second thug has a weapon swap from the original Warlord mercenary.

oooh blue dragon on the map.. could it be Stormwing?

That would stand to reason.

Looks like the undead version of WOTC's fiendish T-rex.

Well, that sort of thing is supposed to be unspeakable. :;,;:

Oh, dwarf sprite, maybe we'll get some Enlarged Dark Dwarves, or maybe Huge Fire giants.

I agree too.  I think this expansion just got a lot nicer.  I like the golems, they will be so fun to paint. Im not sure if I will go in on the SHUB or not, if I do, that will most likely be a candidate for airbrush painting the bulk of it, trying to gt around all those tentacles with a brush looks like it will be a pain. Since my Dad is in on this too we may split up on some of the add-ons to save us each costs, and he DMs our game anyway, so would be using most of the figures together.

I just want to say that I've been eyeing that thug with a club in metal for some time. Now I will be able to get it -- actually, several -- at the Bones price. Thank you Reaper.

By the way, I also wanted the pointing guy (P06179B), who unfortunately has been weapon-swapped and shielded and hooded into a different figure here. However, you could make that up to me by making another arsenal add-on with some pseudo-non-lethal weapons in it, like clubs of various sizes / lengths.

The world needs more figures of human mooks with little protection -- leather armor (at most), no helmet or shield -- and clubs.

PS:

And appropriately with this post, I have been promoted to "Rabble Rouser"! Bring on the rabble minis!

I really am starting to believe now that Reaper is listening to me ... ;)

I didn't even get time to ask for a torture chamber, they just read my thoughts ...

Very early in the campaign I asked for weapon sprues.

I asked for terrain.

I asked for Tengus.

I asked for Onis (well, specifically for Talin's Oni, but that might still come).

I asked for Kyra and Lavarath.

I'm asking for Tieflings ...

Psst!  Ask for a robot!  Ask for a robot!!

Also, I wonder if Julie is going to get to sculp the naga.  Her snakes (oh, and dragons, of course) are fantastic.

A little over a week left. Come on people, pledge until it hurts!!

So, when does everyone think we're going attain the next goal? We're not too far off; certainly before the weekend is out, right?

And what's the next one going to be?

So asked and answered within around 5 hours or so. Pretty cool. I'm pretty happy with Expansion 1, definitely getting a set.

We're closing in on Eastern Legends; how long 'till we achieve that one?

I'm looking forward to ShubNiggurath, that's exactly the type of mind shattering critter I need!

Let's look ahead a little, shall we? What is that critter after ShubNiggurath and before the dragon; could it be hobgoblins? What about the creature up in that corner of the woods near the fence? The one that looks like a ninja goblin, what's that gonna be?

Does anyone know if I can keep my wave 1 spot if I pledge $100 or more but don't take a core set? Thanks.

You don't have to chose a core if you don't want to. Allocate your pledge how you want post project in the pledge manager. Your shipping wave does not depend on your reward selection.

I've pretty much given up on this Core offering enough that is interesting to me. Does anyone know if I can keep my wave 1 spot if I pledge $100 or more but don't take a core set? Thanks.

They have said if you are still willing to pledge the $100, then you can just select other things via the pledge manager. No need to give up the spot.

Edit: Ninja-ed! I'm going back to sleep.
