I woke up to the Wizard of Oz and was completely dissappointed. Oh well they can't make everyone happy.

Also I love to be able to pledge a few loose lizards and centipedes..

I was pretty pleased with the Wizard of Oz... Kinda wish that the manticore and sphinx  were core, but worth it as an add-on.

Yay! raised my pledge to $15 (from $1).  Will see what happens in these last few days.  hopefully i can get whatever i want for less than 75.

I was a big fan of the Oz set when they first came out in metal. I'm mostly indifferent towards them in Bones, except for the mechanical flying monkey. Much easier to assemble a horde of flying monkeys now.

I always loved the Oz figures. Very glad they make it to the core.

Scrolled down a bit more and, "oh that will do nicely."

I agree with what someone said in the comments last night and that was 'How can there only be one flying monkey? We need 3 or 4'.. still, its not my bag..

I for one am really excited for the Wizard of Oz figures as they look like a ton of fun to paint. However, I don't tend to use figures for RPGs so I can see how some wouldn't be that excited about them.

About the Wizard of Oz miniatures:

 

- I don't play a game where I might be able to use some of them, but the witch, the tin man and the scarecrow will fit fantasy games just as well

- they look fun to paint

- they are part of a large core set - it's almost inevitable that such a core set also contains miniatures one is not too crazy about ... and this core set is almost perfect for my taste (the only miniatures I really don't want because I can neither use them nor do I want to paint them are the Savage World minis), so getting the core is a no-brainer for me (and Kyra and Lavarath, and the Undead Lords, and the Ogre Command, and the Dwarves and ... thankfully, this KS is over in 5 days).
