We're doing over $65,000 a day now - the goal spacing at $70,000 per goal for the two that are visible is still on target for hitting one a day.

Everybody's freaking out about it being "slow" and I just don't get it. Last week we were doing 40K a day and we're up by over half of that, and we haven't even shown the big stuff that'll be worth a pretty big push.

Because 70k is a smaller percentage of the overall amount now.  We're only seeing two significant digits, and 70k doesn't make that second significant digit really move.

Yes, I'm saying on a seven digit campaign, only the million and hundred thousand digit is now significant to the average backer for speed tracking.

It "feels" slow because the number is so big now. You are absolutely correct though at $65k+/day this is still going VERY fast. I just backed DGS games' kickstarter yesterday and even though it's funded, it hasn't even hit $10k in 1 MONTH.

People need to really put things in perspective.

Anyhow, Bryan and Co are doing a wonderful job with this kickstarter and it's still on track for going over $2 MILLION before it's said and done.

Knowing the craziness of the last 48 hours of a typical KS and the two priors, I will not be surprised if this one hits 3 mil. Doubling where we are at right now would be more par for the course than the exception.

ya i guess our perspectives can be a bit skewed since Reaper has an abnormally successful kickstarter campaign - outside of the gaming kickstarter projects and entering into the funded amounts of some of the other types of larger projects (ie. 2 million range)

What the others have said. The last three digits are really just rounding errors to our eyes at this point. When we git $3000 from hitting a stretch goal, we start vibrating with anticipation.

I also wonder if things would feel like they were moving faster if, instead of seeing four future rewards at two values, we saw three future rewards at three values. Of course, that would be more work for you.

Wednesday or Thursday we scale back to showing only ONE goal ahead - the current goal. So when it's hit, we reveal the next one. Right now there's two reveals dangling and that's not going to be that way forever.

@Reaperbryan: I don't think we are going slow.  I think we only slowed down a little bit yesterday and that was probably because of the pledge calculator being down.  But I would love for us to get past 3 million in the next four days.  I am eager to see something amazing unlocked AFTER the five headed dragon beast!

I don't think it's slow right now . . . though I did think it was moving slow last week. Of course, then everyone was all "OMG 30K IN A DAY IS AMAZING WHAT DO YOU MEAN SLOW?!" It nonetheless felt a crawl

Perspective cuts both ways--one project can make 10k and be a raging success whereas another would fail to live up to expectations at a million.

People just really wanna see projects in which they're invest kick as much butt as possible. I wouldn't take it personally.

Could we have a pic with sir Forscale and the sphinx and manticore. I would like to evaluate how big they are. And I would like to see other angle of mr. Manticore. They are awesome sculpts. Well done Reaper team.

I'm pretty pleased at the campaign and a bit afraid of the end. I can't wait for Mr. 5 badass head to show. Maybe i'll get a second one to do a gigantic hydra. That would be so cool.

+1 for Sir Forscale. He's was missing and had to be added into so many of the early reveals. I thought by this point he would be in all of the larger monster pics. He's a servant of the people.

We can't add him t the pic if we built the art from a photograph of the green, whereas we can add it if we have the model already. We include wherever possible but sometimes we just can't at the same time as when we post the model.
