I'm glad I just talked my wife into reeling back one of our home improvement projects substantially, I will have some extra cash now. We're quickly approaching my initial limiter level I had set for myself.

OTOH, as impressed as I am with the big multi-headed boy there... I don't know if I'm going to pick one up.  He's just so large that even with my mean trick to play on the party idea he would essentially be an eternal shelf decoration in the game room.

I know I'm definitely in for the first and third expansions (debating on mythos... I want the altar and cultists, and I have a friend I think plays some Lovecraftian RPGs and might like the other figures) Definitely getting extra sets of Hobgobs as I love those asian inspired armor sets on them. Probably in for the big worm, which I will re-name Euphemism.

Core is currently at 129 minis (w/o the weapons or bases) – 77 cents per mini.
- Most Smaller minis go for: $1.99 - $2.29 (62% - 67% off) ~23 smaller minis so far in core
- Most medium sized character minis go for $2.29 - $2.79 (67%-73% discount) 84 currently

- Most Large minis go for: $3.29 - $6.99 (77%-89% discount) ~ 22 ≥Large minis in core

- 25 one inch bases are $4.99, x2 (we get ~50) is $9.98 which people are getting for free
- 10 two inch bases are $4.99 x2 (we get ~20) is $9.98 again for free.
- The weapon sprues in metal cost ~$8.99 (but guessing from the familiars and rats would be Between $1.99 - $3.99 in Bones) again, x3 ($6-$12) for free.
Remember in metal all these things would be more expensive. But Bones Retail Value rough estimation w/ the 129 minis currently in the core, plus bases and weapons is ~ $404.

- And when Hobgobageddon unlocks: 133 minis – 75 cents a mini + an additional weapon sprue
But each person needs to find their own value in this. :)

Wait....is Sir Forescale included in expansion 3?!

Oops, looks like Reaper forgot a little "not included" disclaimer.

Sir Forscale has hit retail years ago.

Welp, too late.  They'll have to put him into all our orders now.

I see no problem with that.

As long as no one edits the image.

I'm basically under budget right now, not by a lot, but I've also got a handful of extras I'm less attached to than others.  If we get another couple of big ticket items that speak to me I've got plenty of wiggle room left to grab them.

I might, might, just escape this with my emergency contingency fund untouched.

So awhile back I was horrified to discover that some old un-finished minis had sprouted a strange orange mold. I gave them a deep clean and seemed to have solved the issue (spoiler: I did not and it's affecting nearly all my minis... but that's a problem for another time).

As a reward for enduring the cleaning, these goblins deserved to finally get painted.

      Goblin Command (77349)
First up are these two baddies from one of the Bones 2 expansion sets.

These guys, being earlier bones, are a bit on the rough side, and definitely out-of-scale with the others. But that does help them stand out a bit.
      More Photos Below the Spoiler:
      Goblin Warriors (77444)
Next up, we have our "heavy hitters" from Bones 3.

I like these sculpts a lot better. There's a uniformity in the face structure, while still having individuality between models.
      More Photos Below Spoiler:
      Goblin Skirmishers (77445)
The final batch of wimpier goblins from Bones 3.

These guys are the mookiest of mooks. Poorly armed, and poorly armored. These are the guys that get sent in first to soak up some arrows.
      More Photos Below Spoiler:
It's nice to finally have some painted goblins. Though my bag full of 50+ more unpainted goblins still taunts me.  I have plans to paint them in a few different shades from the yellow-green used here, to a fleshy yellow-tan, to a pale fleshy-grey.  Hopefully that'll break up the duplicates and add some variety.  But that's a future project.
After painting all these guys up I am tempted to finish the set with the Goblin Honor Guard.  They're the only ones I don't have. I can't see myself getting much use out of them, as they're a bit more situational or decorative than practical. But my completionist brain says I need them.

Reaper has so many incredible and different goblin sculpts.  Which ones are your favorites?

And a third NPC - his day job is boatswain, so I wanted the armor to not be full plate.... he's currently helping the party do a fetch quest for the captain. I'm pretty satisfied with what I got out for what I put in - but I do notice I seem to have forgotten his eyebrows!

      From Bones 3: Gug

"It was a paw, fully two feet and a half across, and equipped with formidable talons. After it came another paw, and after that a great black-furred arm to which both of the paws were attached by short forearms. Then two pink eyes shone, and the head of the awakened gug sentry, large as a barrel, wabbled into view. The eyes jutted two inches from each side, shaded by bony protuberances overgrown with coarse hairs. But the head was chiefly terrible because of the mouth. That mouth had great yellow fangs and ran from the top to the bottom of the head, opening vertically instead of horizontally."
