Anyone know if Shub-Niggurath will be pre-assembled? 

Probably not, but Bones minis generally assemble FAR batter than metal and resin miniatures. Fits are almost always L-tab to L-slot, T-tab to T-slot. that should easy hold with just a drop of super glue.

I'd been slacking on painting my minis. But seeing goremaw for some reason makes me want to pick up, get some practice in again, and paint him up as cindermaw the clan eater from Paizo's Curse of the Crimson Throne AP when he arrives.

I guess I just worry about needing to get my foot in the door to avoid a price increase like with Bones 1.

I got the same deal with Bones 2, but I don't remember if latecomers had to pay more or not.

If you do not back this project through Kickstarter before it ends, you are considered a Late Backer and WILL pay a higher price.

We did this with every one of our previous three Kickstarters.

The only way to get these bargain prices is to back this project through Kickstarter.

OH, that is a good idea, it does look like an enormous Thoqqua worm. Might get it for that, since I like my purple worms more wormy than the platey  WOTC style purple worms

Love the scale shot  Reaperbryan. The giants are cool, though I do kinda wish they looked easier to sculpt plate armor onto them since their dwarfy build screams fire giant.

 

Kudo's for not overtly mimicking the D&D dragons heads on Ma’aldrakar. It is good to see some originality rather than "just different enough to avoid an IP lawsuit".

 

BTW, is it still official that all Reaper dragons are female, or was that a running joke? I'm wondering which gender(s) Ma’aldrakar has.

True, but that size was from a manufacturing mistake. It also shows in how under detailed Kaladrax looks because she was made a size or two too big.

It has been confirmed by Julie Guthrie (Ma'aldrakar's sculptor) herself that the dragon king is a he. :)

Another question: what's up with the WAVE1 stuff, I understand that 1 gets shipped sooner than 2 and so on, but when will WAVE1 be shipping, as far as I can tell it can be anytime between jully 2015 and dec 2050?!

I would have liked to use it as the bones of a long dead dragon, lying in the landscape. Looks perfect! ;-)

Sure, I know, Stormwing is nowhere near the epic greatness that Ma'aldrakar, Nathavar or Nethyrmaul, but I've been wanting that model for a long time, and hoping it would appear.
