A suggested name for an all-female figure stretch goal: "Monstrous Regiment".

Subtle, apt, and less likely to have women gamers' eyes falling out of their heads from rolling so hard at babealicious titles.

QFT.

Bryan, if this can happen, it really should.

Thanks all, I was pretty sure I could wait until later, but really didn't want to screw up.  I felt okay about the husband and I limiting ourselves to core + Stoneskull (and maybe the little undead set).  My will was strong on the other bigger expansions.  Then they added the graveyard golem to that expansion.  *sigh*  Might as well up my pledge now so it goes into stretch goals.

I apologize if this has been addressed:

Does anyone have any information about the material they are making the crypt and the fences from?  Is it regular bonesium or are they trying to make it with something a little more rigid?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I want to know the same thing.

My understanding is that they are borrowing some awesomeness from Bryan's soul for that particular material for extra durability.

I'd personally prefer the fences to be a bit more rigid but that might lend to more possible breakage around the game table.

Aside from being Bones plastic of some kind, I do not think they have announced the details. (Noting that I do not track the KS comments section, and would not know if they said anything there.)

Given how thin the fence posts are, I would guess that they are rigid, or at least stiffer than average, Bonesium, but I don't really know.

I'd prefer for the fences to be more rigid, more like Wyrmgear's wings, or we will have the same problem with each fence tip as we have with every soft Bonesium spear.  Either way, I would just like to know what to expect so I can decide whether to get that expansion and extra fencing.

      Goblins!
So awhile back I was horrified to discover that some old un-finished minis had sprouted a strange orange mold. I gave them a deep clean and seemed to have solved the issue (spoiler: I did not and it's affecting nearly all my minis... but that's a problem for another time).

As a reward for enduring the cleaning, these goblins deserved to finally get painted.

      Goblin Command (77349)
First up are these two baddies from one of the Bones 2 expansion sets.

These guys, being earlier bones, are a bit on the rough side, and definitely out-of-scale with the others. But that does help them stand out a bit.

      Goblin Warriors (77444)
Next up, we have our "heavy hitters" from Bones 3.

I like these sculpts a lot better. There's a uniformity in the face structure, while still having individuality between models.

      Goblin Skirmishers (77445)
The final batch of wimpier goblins from Bones 3.

These guys are the mookiest of mooks. Poorly armed, and poorly armored. These are the guys that get sent in first to soak up some arrows.

It's nice to finally have some painted goblins. Though my bag full of 50+ more unpainted goblins still taunts me.  I have plans to paint them in a few different shades from the yellow-green used here, to a fleshy yellow-tan, to a pale fleshy-grey.  Hopefully that'll break up the duplicates and add some variety.  But that's a future project.

After painting all these guys up I am tempted to finish the set with the Goblin Honor Guard.  They're the only ones I don't have. I can't see myself getting much use out of them, as they're a bit more situational or decorative than practical. But my completionist brain says I need them.

Reaper has so many incredible and different goblin sculpts.  Which ones are your favorites?

And a third NPC - his day job is boatswain, so I wanted the armor to not be full plate.... he's currently helping the party do a fetch quest for the captain. I'm pretty satisfied with what I got out for what I put in - but I do notice I seem to have forgotten his eyebrows!

      From Bones 3: Gug

"It was a paw, fully two feet and a half across, and equipped with formidable talons. After it came another paw, and after that a great black-furred arm to which both of the paws were attached by short forearms. Then two pink eyes shone, and the head of the awakened gug sentry, large as a barrel, wabbled into view. The eyes jutted two inches from each side, shaded by bony protuberances overgrown with coarse hairs. But the head was chiefly terrible because of the mouth. That mouth had great yellow fangs and ran from the top to the bottom of the head, opening vertically instead of horizontally."
