Well froghemoth is not for me but I know many asked him. Keep crying for the giantess folks. We have 9 hours to convince bryan that the giantess must be there. But I like the Mr. and Mrs Bones, they are super cute.

And Sophie, don't forget her!!

 

Anyone else got the feeling that the Froghemoth was an in-joke that suddenly got real?

 

I know Reaper listens, but wow!

I think you may be right.

 

ETA---yes, the halfling farmers with their cart, can't forget them either.

Wren, it's quite all right about posting to FB. It does get the pics out in the wild, after all. I just like grousing about FB. Your pics that have been posted here do confirm that giantess is one of the best minis ever, so I'm very happy about that!

 

I notice that Mrs. Bones didn't turn Ma'aldrakar into a pile of bones. Did she befriend the tyrant? Or just sneak by?

Greens of the "other" Froghemot. Note! This is not what Reaper's will look like, but it's IS the same sculptor.

That Froghemoth has an amazing amount of texture. Even if we get something with half as much detail, it will be a thing of beauty (for an abomination).

Reaper also posted to the comments that the Froghemoth will be sculpted by the same person who did the one for CSM's fiasco. (Vulture on these forums I think). Kudos Reaper!!!!!!! Very classy.

That is very, very nice to hear! Vulture's Froghemoth was the piece I was most looking forward to from the Tome of Horror fiasco. Should be a beast that works very well in Bones too, just awesome!

And I also wonder what map reveal we will see...once the Boneses are reunited, where will they go? Maybe a cemetery arbor, an arch of black and crimson roses, to renew their vows, with Sophie officiating?

 

Or maybe there's a diner on the other side of the cemetery, and we find out the new frost giantess' name is "Peg," and she serves up coffee and pie and gets the stinkeye from Mrs. Bones every time she calls Mr. Bones "hon."

I was also kind of surprised there wasn't an air elemental in there somewhere since we have large versions of earth, fire, and water. I needs a complete set!

 

I'm hoping for a "thank you" set too that includes Sophie and the female frost giant. I'd rather have those than a Froghemoth, but let it not be said that Reaper doesn't listen to its consumers. I'd assumed that they wouldn't make one. Joke's on me.

Ya. I'm in Toronto. Cdn dollar sucks right now. Keeping bones 3 to as low as possible. Currently at 85 :) but the last day stretch stuff will prob raise that...

 

I'm presently in for $650 at present and hoping the Canadian dollar rallies strongly between now and tomorrow evening . . .
