Closing in on the Air Elementals. Looking forward to the reveals in the female monster pack, the 2 out are amazing, and I am looking forward to what comes out in these last few hours! So very well done Reaperpeeps.

I was thinking about the Frost Giantess, She might be in there.

 

Since I saw her carrying that staff made of a Norse Ships Bow, I can only think of one thing...MAMMOTH HERDER..

 

I want her, and Bones or not, I will get her two mammoths and she'll become a mammoth herder in a diorama..

 

That will be awesome. Would love to see that. I don't really need mammoths but I kind of think they are adorably cute and fluffy so would definitely get them if they show up.

 

 

I've been adding some pictures of the countdown party prep to my Bones 3 gallery, and I'll attempt to post some of the partying as it proceeds!

Thanks, much appreciated for those of us not there! Hopefully some kind of forumite on the bookface will copy pictures to the forum here so the rest of us can be there in spirit!

 

Like others, still hoping to see the halflings and cart and pigs. Moreso than the frost giantess, but obviously I'd be very happy to have them both. This KS has been fantastic though and I love what I'm getting. The third part of the graveyard expansion pushed me over the edge and we're getting it, even though I'm not as into the mausoleum as the rest of ya'll are, there's enough other stuff I'm gonna go for it (only money anyways, pish posh).

Eeeee! From the start I've been waiting for something like the "Pretty Deadly" add on, to get the male/female ratio closer to even.

Please add the female frost giant. *keeps fingers crossed*

 

Agreed.  Though I'm already thrilled with the female oni.  She's awesome!  :wub:

150K is a big jump, though... I wonder if it's partly to slow the pledging down?

Could be, Reaper might be happy in the 2 miliion bracket since 3 million has been a TON of work last 2 times.

I thot the "froghemoth" was trademarked. But if Reaper makes one, I'll certainly get one...

i didnt think it was trademarked. D&D had it back in the 90s (maybe before).  Pathfinder has their version.  Frog God has it in their monster manuals...

d20 licence wasn't really written for miniatures, and certain old D&D monsters (Like this one) became d20 through a particular agreement with Necromancer Games / now Frog God, which that company thinks mean they can now make certain claims to said monsters. I think thats why a few Pathfinder monsters miniatures have changed names.

 

Female monsters inbound!

 

Bones T'Raukzul looks a little different from her metal version. Is this a new sculpt, or just a different angle?

 

EDIT: In my excitement, I neglected to read the words "This brand new version by Gene Van Horne".  :upside: 

 

Ooh, and she's a big girl as a $20 add-on.

I'd expect she's as big as the old one at $20. Sculpt is new, but kept the overly human body pattern. Not a fan of that, but since that pattern IS  the minority now, I'm sure some folks now miss that style. I'm getting one because I'm getting all the dragons other than Martha (Scales too chunky , feet too bulky IMHO)

 

Any ideas on what the other spaces in Pretty Deadly will bring? Presumably we'll see a new Sophie along with the female giant already shown.

 

I really like the female oni!

Overly sexy minis with armor that is either barely there or actually dangerous to the wearer due to molded cleavage. And most likely all too scrawny.

 

 

I wanted a colossal demodragon like the dungeon magazine article from like 2007 or so. But at least froghemoth is there.

It's funny you say that because I was just thinking the other day that I hope Demodragon is the capstone of Bones 4...assuming a Bones 4 happens.

 

Papo toys has a very nice and plump 2 headed dragon that has been made in half a dozen colours. BBI company has a WONDERFUL 3 headed dragon that is enormous.

I am pretty sure that even if they stopped right now at ~2.5 million it would be a TON of work.
