I'm not sure about an expansion. Yeah, some people will pledge more ... I won't because the core set gets expensive enough with shipping and fees. Do we need the people that are already in to pledge more or do we need new backers? If the latter, maybe the core set needs another "wow" factor?

The expansions were very popular last time. But I also wonder how many people wait more until the end and then put in for add ons once they see what all will more be there.

I think, on the whole, that we can trust the people who've run two of the most successful Kickstarters to know what they're doing.

A lot of truth in that statement I think! Edited by ladystorm

I can only hope that some new backers only come in on the weekends. So we wouldn't have to wait so long to see the $1M mark.

Though realistically, it's quite likely we'll reach the $1M goal today, but maybe not the next one (Lycans II) during the weekend.

Reaching nearly $1,000,000 in four days is pretty good indicator too.

The total is creeping up decently fast, I'm hoping for a reveal before I leave for work in 45 mins. :D

I increased my pledge to my max of 300 to move things along, even though I have more fun adding money as things are unlocked. Every little bit helps! ^_^

You might, we're at less than 1000 now!

You know how it works, Pledge Calculator lets you add and subtract things to see what makes the shipping change. I'd bet that adding a core expansion wouldn't really change the shipping cost that much. And remember even after shipping and customs, you're saving over 40% and probably even over 50% off retail whether you buy direct from Reaper or a FLGS.

Here is all that I finished in March - one undead archer - the bowman from Bones 3 undying heros. Paining a giant took the rest of my time... In any case, he was kind of a quick diversion, just so I could get the satisfaction of a finished mini - always can use more undead archers!

      Goblins!
So awhile back I was horrified to discover that some old un-finished minis had sprouted a strange orange mold. I gave them a deep clean and seemed to have solved the issue (spoiler: I did not and it's affecting nearly all my minis... but that's a problem for another time).

As a reward for enduring the cleaning, these goblins deserved to finally get painted.

      Goblin Command (77349)
First up are these two baddies from one of the Bones 2 expansion sets.

These guys, being earlier bones, are a bit on the rough side, and definitely out-of-scale with the others. But that does help them stand out a bit.

      Goblin Warriors (77444)
Next up, we have our "heavy hitters" from Bones 3.

I like these sculpts a lot better. There's a uniformity in the face structure, while still having individuality between models.

      Goblin Skirmishers (77445)
The final batch of wimpier goblins from Bones 3.

These guys are the mookiest of mooks. Poorly armed, and poorly armored. These are the guys that get sent in first to soak up some arrows.

It's nice to finally have some painted goblins. Though my bag full of 50+ more unpainted goblins still taunts me.  I have plans to paint them in a few different shades from the yellow-green used here, to a fleshy yellow-tan, to a pale fleshy-grey.  Hopefully that'll break up the duplicates and add some variety.  But that's a future project.

After painting all these guys up I am tempted to finish the set with the Goblin Honor Guard.  They're the only ones I don't have. I can't see myself getting much use out of them, as they're a bit more situational or decorative than practical. But my completionist brain says I need them.

Reaper has so many incredible and different goblin sculpts.  Which ones are your favorites?

And a third NPC - his day job is boatswain, so I wanted the armor to not be full plate.... he's currently helping the party do a fetch quest for the captain. I'm pretty satisfied with what I got out for what I put in - but I do notice I seem to have forgotten his eyebrows!
