That & so far we really haven't seen the Big'guns yet, or at least the stuff I got excited about at RCon this year (besides the giants of course). Most of the big stuff is stuff I've either seen or have or had at one time & got rid of it for new stuff.

Three dragons, a dragon with a rider, bonehenge, fomorian, and set of giants isn't enough big stuff for you, eh?  :;):

We've yet to see something you'd have to dedicate an entire room to yet!  :;):

Ehem.... I went by my FLGS today. They had the official D&D minis on the shelf. Among them was the official Tiamat. And I thought, "is that really supposed to be THE Tiamat? Isn't it quaint." And overpriced I might add. Can't wait for my 5 headed proxy. Got to love how Reaper is shakin up the mini market. :D

I'm really looking forward to seeing those Victorian miniatures. I have a Spirit of the Century game and I think I could make use of those models.

And just saying, if there's a superhero pack at some point I promise to buy at least two copies!

As I said most I've seen so far & I've ether have it or had it when it was metal only. I wanna see some stuff I haven't seen yet! Out of all those you mention the formorian is the only thing I haven't seen yet ::): & I like him but I can wait for retail vs paying 100 for him & the rest of the Core Set (or even 60).

I'll get more excited when the purple worm, new graveyard golem, comes along & of course if they come along.

Tianot is great in all, but unlike most on here I'm not all that excited about it. Fantastic miniature that blows every other Tia-whatever out of the water but overall I'm like ehhh it's cool, what else?

I know the weekends are usually slower, but so far it looks like we're making some progress still.  Hopefully word of mouth starts to spread around gaming groups this weekend.

I agree. I've been comparing this to Bones 2 and while obviously the first day wasn't as much, the drop-off seems to be a less extreme percentage. Also surprised by how well it's going today on both the weekend and at the point when it should be steeply dropping off. I don't necessarily know if all this will be enough to help it to break even with Bones 2, but it's encouraging nonetheless.

If Bones III comes even close to approaching Bones II funding wise, it will make this campaign a roaring success.

A few points to remember why direct funding comparisons between the two don't work. As successful KS' are repeated the number of backers and funding dollars go down. And this campaign is 28% shorter than Bones II, which means that this one should be compared to trying to reach $2,282,119 in funding dollars.

I hear ya. Much as I liked the ReaperCon preview pictures to drum up enthusiasm, I wonder how much that is removing the surprise/excitement from the forumites. There's still surprises, but waiting for a goal you already knew they had planned prior to the KS is less exciting. And knowing all the other things I know are going to be in it worries me too, makes me think there's only room left enough for the stuff I know about. Hopefully that's not the case.

That is exactly how I'm feeling so far. Granted there have been a dew surprises so far, weregorilla is a great piece. My biggest worry is some of the stuff that I really liked won't get released due to the shortened duration for this KS.

Right. I was not necessarily trying to say Bones 3 should match Bones 2. Just using Bones 2 numbers to see how significant the drop-off each day is. Since percentage-wise it is less, I think that's a good sign for Bones 3. Not necessarily indicating it will match. Though I worry Reaper was thinking it would be a lot closer, I hope that doesn't prevent us too much from getting a lot of the stuff they had planned. 2.4-2.5mil is my estimate based on how it's going so far. Obviously it's early in and it could start to go either way depending on factors.

Also consider the fact that the earlier stretch goals are further apart in Bones III, so there's more "dead space" between goals.  I'm hoping we'll start seeing more tandem goals to help create more milestones for people to look forward to.  For example, having one each of a "Core", "Add-On", and "Expansion" goal going at the same time.  I enjoyed that in Bones II, as even with sizable gap between goals it felt like something was coming up soon-ish.

When the KS first started someone asked about Marathangul's joints. I looked at mine tonight & they aren't as bad as the pic shows. The only place I really used greenstuff was at the wings to body joint & i just made that into skin covering.

I had forgotten how impressive that dragon is (hence prob why I kept him (along with Kaladrax I) when I did my purge). Well worth the KS price!!

I wish I had the disposable income some of you folks have. In Bones II, I was pushing it at $170, Really can't go too much further this time, and that's mostly due to the bonus my wife got allowing me to postpone covering it.

I asked about it, actually. Thanks for the review. Edited by ladystorm

Yeah...  well...  I'm not sure about having a large amount of disposable income versus just not having a lot of things we actually spend money on for fun.  We don't do big vacations or drive new cars, etc.  I've pretty much given up Kickstarter but Reaper still gets my monies since a large part of our social life is playing D&D.

That said, our big splurge on Bones 2 was a little over $300.  Hoping to keep it down below that this time, ideally I'd like to keep it under $200 but we'll see what Reaper has in store...
