Right now we're still riding on new backers from week one. Eventually they will get to the point where the goals will drive the growth instead. Figuring a 10-15% backer drop off, wed be looking at maybe another 4000 backers.

Thank you for posting those look fantastic. I saw the preview earlier and felt sort of meh. I play mostly fantasy, no sci-fi, modern, or steampunk. But those two figures look really cool. Not too modern that I couldn't use them. I know they are probably supposed to be operating some sort of artillery, but they kind of remind me of Victorian sailors as well, I like having different sailor options (seems to come up a lot in D&D).

So right. My hobby is full-on fantasy as well, but I'm feeling some real mojo from these Victoria Lamb minis. I might paint them up in a Fullmetal Alchemist color scheme just to make my kids squee. If the rest of the set is as nicely done as these it'll definitely turn into a must have set.

I wonder if Reaper plans to introduce the Victoria minis as an add-on set or put a fair number of them into a small expansion? Either way, these along with the Tardis, are the only non-fantasy Bones minis that have me itching to paint modern figures.

I'm frankly astonished that we did nearly $42,000 on a weekend!!! And it's still ticking up, slowly but steadily. I think another unlock before Monday morning is possible. Not necessarily likely, but at least within the realm of possibility. :)

Aaaaand now for your daily infobits summary, part 1! Starts off with ReaperRon manning the account. (remember, the quotes are backwards, chronologically speaking)

My pop-in tease. Izzy sent me some killer concept art for a couple of things today. Things that some folks have mentioned. And it might make some people happy. :)

Color me a little bit confused ... but, what does the "Double" at the $1,000,000 funding level refer to? @Izzy?

So I was wondering what the 1 million double means. I was looking at what's already unlocked and didn't see anything regarding that.

Izzy: @Clint: It was two stretch goals (the paints and the dragon) being unlocked at once.

That skelly on the undead horse rearing up in scale mail with all the symbols on it, Thats not in bones is it? I NEEEEEEED that for my revenant cavalry!!!!

Izzy: @Sue: That horse is one that many people at Reaper would like to see in Bones, too - but the size of the mini, combined with the small support of the back legs makes it problematic. Ron mentioned that yesterday. *sad*

Whoa, what is that tentacle monster shown at Reapercon... I want one, possibly more!

Starlight - that tentacle monster is Shub Nigurrath

So you guys want a carnivorous plant, huh? Interesting.

Switches over to ReaperBryan here

Hi, How do I actually play with these miniatures ? Are there a set of rules somewhere ?

@Zeke Yeo - Our miniatures are compatible with almost every major roleplaying game system, including Pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons (all editions), GURPS, Palladium, and more!

Can anyone tell me how to add rewards to the pledge manager?

@Sal - complete instructions, with pictures, can be found here:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1513061270/reaper-miniatures-bones-3-the-search-for-mr-bones/posts/1289062

(Regarding the latest stretch goal reveal, the Undying Lords one)

Are those new sculpts? Fantastic.

@Melvin - they are all new sculpts, yes.

@reaper It may have been asked before...but any chance for a wererhino? Need bebop and rocksteady as a team :p

@AJ - there is always a chance.

Advice please reaper, or backers. If I spend 45 usd plus 20 on postage, what import tax to the UK do I pay..

@Andrew Wilde - We do not know your local tax laws, and cannot really say. 10-15% is common, but also I have heard of some countries charging 60-100% tax rates. We cannot give tax advice, because we literally do not know, having never lived int eh UK and imported goods form he US ourselves.

Back with more shortly!

Infobits, part 2!

@Derek Lynch - Mrs. Bones has an appointment with this project at a later date. Her contract requires that we not reveal the date of her appearance in advance, but she is bound to appear.

I say without sarcasm that we love how enthusiastic you all are, and how much support you have given. Sometimes the comments can be frustrating, because sometimes it feels aggressive, but we know it comes form a place of enthusaiasm over the product.

@Reaper one of the things I like most about bones is ease by which you can change a figure's pose. Also one of the things I like least is that this is required in a lot of cases by blister deformation. But it's a minor gripe and the benefits far outweigh the extra work.

@Tom - a little heat, like boiling water or a hair dryer, usually does the trick here. But they are also ridiculously easy to convert, swap heads or weapon, too. We hope the Weapons pack will make that even easier.

Hey Bryan. Why isn't https://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Monique/latest/02551 Bonsified?

@Aryanun - we have currently ~500 models in Bones. We produce over 4,000 metal figures. Given that over 200 (I actually forget the actual number) of the Bones models are new sculpts designed to take advantage of the properties and look of Bones, only about 1 in 10 of our models is actually both in metal or bones.

My definitive answer is that the odds have not been with Ms. DeNoir yet

@Reaper Can you add some $1 and $2 add-ons just in case of a need for cleanups?

@Tom - before the project ends, those kinds of things are likely, yes. We have had $1 items in the past.

I have to remind myself that it seemed slow with 14 days to go in past Kickstarters as well. At times like this it's easy to lose hope and think we'll never even make it past this next map. Nil desperandum!

@Christopher Crumpler - the comparisons to Bones II that everybody seems to obsessively make (Despite this not being a carbon copy of Bones II) everybody seems to obsess over the end totals and forgets that that project had 21 days where the average was less than $40K and one day where we didn't even make $20K.

Slow days happen, as you reminded yourself, and they are not unexpected and not un-planned for. But yes, it is good to remember

@Bane - Our CEO is an accountant. We have some goals that, individually are not self-sustaining, but taken as an aggregate with everything before it, are fine. We're not going bankrupt raising a million bucks. I promise.

That's all for today! :)

Was a good day yesterday (for a weekend) ... now it's slow again ... hope it picks up on Monday.

There is hope for Sunday still. US is not up yet and could push us over the $1,050,000 mark.

On another note, I found this to deal with autoplay of videos: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2922403/how-to-stop-autoplaying-html5-videos.html

I wish I had the disposable income some of you folks have. In Bones II, I was pushing it at $170, Really can't go too much further this time, and that's mostly due to the bonus my wife got allowing me to postpone covering it.

Don't feel bad, you get what you can. Real life, like bills and food, should come first. Besides, like ReaperBryan has said, they'd like us to buy some at retail as well.

Ok, I'm sold right there. Even if there's nothing else, i like them. They can play the part of important people that Nova Corp, the IMEF needs to rescue/escort somewhere, or whatever else I can think of.

I'm holding at $1, because I gots no money. But I might be able to scratch some up by end of KS or at least, God willin', by pledge close-of-business.

The paints and the ogres though, I am getting, no matter what. I'm hoping for some oddball monsters to pledge for, and if I can squeak together some cash before close-of-business, I plan to drop it all on dragons, bcause I am finding them great fun to paint.

Speakin' of which... GTG. Painting beckons.
