Up now is Ed Pugh's Skeleton With Axe. Love the looks of him, but, beyond that, he holds a special place in my heart. He's the only (Reaper) mini I've ever bought in the town in which I live (I got a few old GW minis at the same time, but who's counting them). I fished him from a box of minis at our town's first ever comic con, this spring. He was painted, so I stripped him just so I could have my go. Ta-da.

Thanks muchly, y'all.

I've a bad habit of defaulting to metallics on shields, even when they have a design and painting them makes really good sense, but I couldn't pass this one up. Needed some liveliness.

A dumpster.  I started painting it as part of Aaron Lovejoy's blending class.  Then had a ton of fun weathering it.

Finally painted her up! Is that a wolf head, an elf head, or... your friend's head in the sack? Can't see too well in the photos, but I did add some blood...

      I created a little Graveyard.
The Crypt and the Raven are resin models from Minimonsters, the Skeleton rising from the grave is 02043 from Reaper.
The Tombstones and Fence are from the Reaper Bones III Graveyard Set.
The pathway was made with Milliput and I used the Greenstuffworld Cobblestone Rollerpin on it.

      Enjoy!

For my Children of the Night Project I'm building a Gothic style Undead army with some Demon allies.

Here is the Necropolis Command Group I will use as a Command for a regiment later.

Hi there.  I've got a boney baddie for you all today.  I was disappointed by the official mini offerings for a Skull Lord (a skeletal warrior with 3 heads), and it seemed like the perfect candidate for a bit of conversion.  A few citadel skulls later and...

For the observant viewer, you'll notice the Skeletal Champion's original head at the bottom of the bone pile.  His skull was a bit too bulky compared to the citadel skulls and the sculpt didn't really leave enough room for three heads so I had to cut away some of the shoulder armor.

All said, this was a pretty simple conversion and will make for a fun fight in the future.
