77311: Water Elemental

My first time painting something in Translucent bones!

I attempted to go for 'breaking waves' sort of look while trying to maintain transparency

 

Took two pairs of photos, on black and on white backgrounds

It's amazing just how different the black background pic looks compared to the white background pic.  Great work!

Awesome! Did you do a WIP or can you divulge a quick rundown?

I did not do a WIP

 

I dry brushed white over it, then put Ocean Blue over the white areas

 

Then I dabbed white over that for the foam

 

And then I added ocean blue to various areas to deepen the look, then added another blue, darker than Ocean Blue, to the crevices for shadow

 

That is about it lol
