Love this miniature! How did you make this tree?

I took a fake flower stem. I used the end, it's thicker, as the core, and wraped the branches around the core leaving extra lenght for roots and branches. Some wires were twisted together before adding to the core. I then tapped the whole thing with florist tape. It's green, narrow and very sticky. I saw videos where they used duct tape but i did not find it convincing. Florist tape is very ribbed and adds more texture for bark.

Primed and painted it.

For the leaves i made a block out of packing styrofoam, used wood glue to stick moss flocking and stuck it on the tree while making sure i inserted the branches in the block. That's the small detail a lot of people forget to do to make the tree believable. Looks more natural with a few branches going in below the leaf block.

love the tree and the basing!

The owl bear has a great face, but you might want to try adding deeper shadows, using thinned black/brown mix.

or a gray shade on the underside of the claws.

The figure is also very shiny, do you nave a mat sealer to go over the gloss?

I did not put gloss on this mini. But a matte sealer is a good idea.

This was a fun little project from earlier this spring.  I added a branch to her tree to give it more dimension and more places to glue "leaves" to.

Does anyone know if the two victim sculpts in the tree of despair set will (or are) ever going to be available separate from the set? I need a couple dozen. Thought about creating my own but id rather spend my money here first if possible. Alternatively is anyone aware of a reaper figure i could use as a substitute? Thank you all for any help.

Hello everyone, here are pictures of a 77341 Lioness. This Bones model was sculpted by Geoff Valley. I painted it as a Black (Blue) Panther.
I kept the original base and sculpted additional high grass around to incorporate it to a larger 2 inches square base. The trees are dried roots.

Got this guy in my Bones Paint & Take Home Survival Kit earlier this year.  He was done with lots of sloppy washes and dry brushing. I put flock on its exposed twigs, for decency's sake.
