Trying to work on my metallics and this gave me a nice big detailed sword to practice with. All in all this went fairly quick for me.

 

Always fun deciding what to paint next, usually depends on how much I am willing to assemble. I love when I don't have to glue or putty anything like this alligator dude.

Lighting on the sword is a little off, affecting my ability to see its details well, but what I see is convincing.

the pic of him fully turned around is probably the better of all of them for the sword. I tried following a couple of videos of two very different techniques. I went with the faster one which was sort of similar to how I paint. The person said to use the reflecting light, but after painting the base coat darkened steel, I could not see any reflective light and just guessed.
