77313: Hill Giant Krug, now with shirtless trio

So this is the giant Krug.  The third of my shirtless july trilogy.  Murica, Ogre chieftain and finally this guy.

It is may largest, and with a little more work one of my best. 

 

he recieved 5 painting days, including a CMPA meeting, where I got some good advice on skin glaze from Doug.

He probably needs a day six for clean up.

 

If I was planning on entering this guy in compilation what advice would you give for improvements?

He looks great, I love the furs especially. Since you were looking for what to improve, you could push the contrast a bit more I think, especially on the skin. Darken the shadows a bit and go further with the highlights, especially on the head and shoulders.

Here is the trio for this month.  I spent 10 painting days on these 3, and learned a lot about painting muscular chests. 

 

 

yeah i need to fix the ogres toes.
