And just to make sure she puts me in my place as an amateur, my partner painted this Goremaw.

So do they wait until they get everything from China before starting fulfillment?  Having two containers I was expecting them to have started wave 2 shipping, but still no news on a fulfillment date.

So we don't have everything. We can't fill Wave 1 orders until we have at least enough of every item that every wave one backer ordered to fulfill.

China might send us a full container of core Sets, and then a container with 12 different SKUs and then a container with another 15, and then one with only 5, depending on how much space each SKU takes up.

What they don't do is send us a container full of what's in each Wave.

Se we cannot start on wave 1 because there are items for which we only have the 6 proof copies they send us to approve the mold.

The September 9th update stated that they were waiting for the Core Set to get packaged and shipped. I can't see any point in starting fulfillment when the most commonly ordered single item is still outstanding.

But more to the point, when they did fulfillment in the past they shut down all non-essential operations and set up a fulfillment assembly line at Reaper HQ. EVERYONE helped ship orders at breakneck pace for a few weeks until it was all out the door. Since it was a super efficient way to get fulfillment done I expect they will do it the same way again. It also ensures that the priority waves are shipped in the order that was promised. The bonus is that the last waves don't actually have to wait several months after Wave 1. ::):

It was one of the more enjoyable afternoons, although going through the spreadsheets to make sure everything was there was tedious.

I'm sure it'll be easily as tedious for many backers verifying their orders, though.

I would say this would be one of those good kinds of problems for a person to have though. I'm sure no one will mind!

OMG!  Jason Weibe helped create the new Dwarven line being released on Kickstarter by Tomb Guardians!  These minis look so cool and they are cheap!  I haven't seen anyone post about this yet but here is the link.  It starts tomorrow morning.  They also said Bobby Jackson and Gene Van Horne created there monsters in the set.  Cant wait.   I purchased there Amazons and they were fantastic!  I posted some pics.  Im assuming the Fire Demon and add ons are in Resin.

      A huge 2 for 1 KS!
(You get BOTH Humans and Halflings in one project! )
Bloody Peasants! by Midlam Miniatures — Kickstarter

      Story
"Oh no!  It's an armed agrarian uprising!"
Toiling in the fields for their feudal overlords, the peasants are equally quick to turn their tools to defending their lands from monstrous invaders or, when pressed to the limit, revolting and overturning cruel and greedy landowners.
      Bloody Peasants!
A selection of human and halfling farmers in 28mm scale miniatures for all of your fantasy games.
You can choose from humans, halflings or both!
      The Humans
A familiar sight in the villages surrounding Midlam.
      The Halflings
A smaller folk, doing the same jobs as the longshanks.

      It's a Midlam project, so you know what that means;
Maybe a stretch goal, very possibly an early fulfillment, and absolutely no nonsense.

I'm backing this because the kobolds look more like Scottish terriers!

$100 level has 40+ miniatures and FREE USA shipping!

RBJ Game Company has created 18 KS projects, mostly miniatures. Let me know your experience with them if you backed before.

I backed his last project (dice towers), and found them well worth what ended up being a long wait to get them. It seemed only right to share, 'cause he makes REALLY PRETTY THINGS. Go look.
