Are all the paints and DVDs just sitting in the warehouse ready for the minis to get to the warehouse?

We have all of the product we need to begin fulfillment except for the container which is in customs at the moment.

However, because this is inevitably the next question people ask, NO we are NOT setting up our warehouse and dedicating staff to pull the small handful of orders which only ask for paint, or only DVDs, or only paint+ DVDs.

We will begin shipping all orders for rewards when all rewards are available. We did not advertise that paint-only orders would go first, and we will not be upsetting the apple cart by changing our plans this close to the end.

Quick question on this KS.  Do we know how many minis there are?  I was sharing info with a friend on the core and add ons and when it came to mentioning how many minis were in the sets I had no clue really.  Tried to find some info but the best I could do was eyeball the images on campaign but did not want to try and count each one.  If anyone else has done so can you give me a number? I guess the ones I wanted to add up were Core, Stoneskull Expansion, and Graveyard Expansion.  I did not get the Mythos so was less concerned with the total in it.

Depends on how you count them. Do you count the 12 weapons of "Arsenal" as 12, 1, or 0?

My spreadsheets have the most accurate information on what exactly is included, but I count each weapon (in each color it is available) as a line, for tracking and recording purposes, and so my sheets list over 500. (30 different weapons, in 6 different total colors = 180 weapons alone!)

A quick scan of my sheets, though, I get 130 models in the Core, 35 in Stoneskull, 30 in Mythos, 40 in Graveyard (although I didn't really count each fence part properly) and another roughly 120 possible available as Options either on the KS or via the PM.

Those counts are rough approximations, and may be off by 2-5 in any given direction. Counting terrain features, weapons, and the like as miniatures bothers some people, but I did clearly count the various tombstones and statues and such. I did not count the weapons. How you want to classify those is up to you.

Do you think the Customs office is also counting each weapon ... ?

Customs counts models on the same sprue as 1 item. So Arsenal, a Sprue with 24 weapons, is 1 item, not 24.

Likewise they count models in the same packaging* as 1 item, so "Chill Out" with 5 models is also 1 item. This works whether in baggies or blister packs. Note that the box of a hundred models isn't "qty 1 box" it's "qty 20 sets" where each set has 5 models.

there's nuances I'm not going to get across in 10 sentences, but this is a "close enough" answer.

*there are limits, but each of our bags is labeled and tagged as a distinct unit with properties (names, numbers) matching the invoices paid, and that's sufficient. It would not improve the situation by putting all rewards in one bag and labeling them as "Kickstarter rewards, Qty 1".

Update #100

This Update is going to be a bit long. The first line of each section contains the short version, if you're in a hurry.

Container & Reward Status

We have received the final container, and are beginning the preparations to sort and organize our factory for fulfillment!

We will be spending next week organizing product, clearing out a space on our factory floor large enough to fulfill 13,000 orders, and setting up the hardware and software needed to ship over a thousand packages a day.

Fulfilment Plan

We are currently planning to begin shipping orders as soon as Organization is complete.  This is expected to be a roughly a week.

We will send out an Update as a reminder on Friday, may 12th, so that everyone who needs to change their addresses can do so before shipping begins in earnest. We will send out another Update on the first day of shipping, towards the end of that day, as confirmation that we're set up, going, and have put the system through its paces with actual orders.

Domestic & International Shipping

There is no short version here, if you live outside of North and South America (and associated territories), this applies to you.

Since this project launched back in 2015, we've been very busy. One of the things we have been hard at work on is an EU & AU/NZ friendly shipping option. This is something backers were very vocal about, and we listened. We have made a tremendous amount of progress on that front, and recently signed an agreement that will greatly improve the process.

We will be dividing backers into 3 Zones. Zone 1 is Europe (including the Balkan states) and Africa. Zone 2 is Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Japan, and the Pacific. And Zone 3 is North and South America, the Caribbean, and related territories (including APO addresses).

Zone 1 & 2 orders are being pulled first, in wave order, and will be shipped to the UK and Australia, respectively. From our new partners in these countries, they will be shipped out to individual backers. This should mean a great savings in VAT, taxes, fees, and other duties on your end.

It is expected that pulling Zone 1 & 2 orders will take approximately 2 days.

Once Zone 1 & 2 Orders are pulled and en route to their respective fulfillment hubs, we will begin pulling Zone 3 orders, which will ship from our Denton, Texas facility like always. By pulling Zones 1 & 2 first, we hope to have them arriving in the UK and Australia just as the first US backers are receiving their parcels.

Backers in all 3 zones will receive emails from the shipper with tracking information.

Some of you may have concerns because you paid shipping rates as if the parcel was traveling from the USA. Well, it still is. We're using those funds to pay the duties to import the goods to the UK or Australia, and to pay to transport those goods from the USA to there. The "savings" on paying a lower final postage price is offset by these additional expenses to us, but the savings to YOU in terms of duties owed upon delivery should be significant. At the end of the day, we will have negligible expense saved, but your savings should be significant.

Change of Address

You can change your address by logging into the Pledge Manager and clicking Account Details.

If you need to change your destination Country, you will need to contact us directly at [email protected] Please include the email you use to login to the Pledge Manager, and please state that this is for Bones 3.

If you have backed more than one Project that uses Reaper's Pledge Manager, understand that the system keeps one address per USER not per project, so when you change your address for Bones 3, it will change for all others. If you need other projects to go to other addresses, you will have to change it again later.

Understand that the postal software sometimes has problems with non-western characters, so please do your best to use the western/latin alphabet equivalent (O or OE, not Ø, U or UE, not Ü, etc.). This is especially important with Chinese characters.

If your package is returned to us because of an invalid address, we may ask you to cover the cost of a second shipment. We will require a new address the second time.

No Local Pickup

We're not able to do Local Pickup.

In the past, we had an unused office available to store the packages until they were picked up. For bones 2, there were over 60 packages, and while most of them were picked up in the first week after we notified you, some backers took over 3 months to pick theirs up. We do not have that kind of space now. We've expanded our production capacity fourfold over the last 2 years, expanding into a second building and increasing the size of every department, consuming nearly every available square inch of space in both buildings. Not only that, but so many of the reward items for Bones 3 are larger than the Bones 2 rewards, and we expect the average box size to be even larger. With no convenient space to put the packages, we need to simply ship them instead.

What Next?

After we've shipped everything, we will send one more Update. In this Update, we'll cover what to do if there was an error, a missing or damaged part, or other problems with your shipment and rewards.

We will also cover what to do if you discover that you are one of the ~60 or so backers who have failed to lock in any reward selections, or if you failed to lock in enough rewards to cover your pledge.

After this, all that remains is for you to sit back, and enjoy your miniatures!

Is my understanding correct that from a German perspective this is now Euro-friendly? Wow ... thank you! This is a huge plus for me ... (means I have about $50 more to spend on Bones IV).

Edit: correction: I would have had to pay custom fees on Bones IV, too, otherwise ... means I have about $100 more to spend on bones IV ...

Yes, this means we're moving towards Euro-friendly shipping for the future.

It is our hope, if this goes well, to transition not only kickstarters, but our regular web store to eu-friendly shipping from within the UK. We hope this saves all of our backers more money in the form of fewer customs fees and taxes.

It is my understanding that it will take about two years or so for the UK to leave the EU (if it really, really happens).

If the UK leaves, nobody can say at the moment what will happen concerning goods being shipped between the EU and the UK and vice versa ...

I'll celebrate this news with you Knight. Gotta say, even though I'm a US backer, I'm happy to see that international backers get their orders packaged and sent out the door first. It would be great if it could be standard practice whenever possible. It isn't always possible, but it seems downright polite whenever I see it happen.

I know you guys are going to be busy, but could you confirm that Asian orders are going to Australia first, and are you using couriers rather than Australia Post?

I don't really care about waiting extra days or a few weeks, but I have just had so much trouble getting stuff out of Australia, and Australia Post have always been terrible.

So...  for those of us living in an European country(Norway), but NOT one that is part of the EU, how will this affect us?

Not at all :P

If you have any friends in sweden(or dare to use poste restante) that might save you some cash though.
