I'd wait a bit before accusing anybody of lying or not doing what they said they were going to do ... there might be a reason for changes - or there might not even be changes but a Computer screw-up. Let's not jump to conclusions hastily.

Agreed, but certainly someone there knows that we are confused with what we're seeing by now, right?

Yeah, even a small blurb here or in the comments of the kickstarter would do a lot...

If it turns out that there was a computer problem or a clerical error or alien attack or any other reasonable explanation of what is happening, then I will gladly say I was wrong.  Until then, I will continue to be frustrated with the current situation.

To be fair, I think they think they did that already, it just wasn't as helpful as they think it was.

Making changes to shipping was always a possibility. One of the things they mentioned in the past was that they were looking into friendlier shipping options for outside US backers. I don't think making changes late in the game is a bad thing if it benefits so many people. Now, lack of communication does seem to be an issue. We have no way of knowing if Canada is getting shipped out before US, if they are having a software problem, or anything else. All we know is that Canadians are getting shipping label notices up to wave 4 (at least). That looks like something may have changed, but until Reaper tells us what's what, we'll be left speculating.

A couple of points:

1. In both Bones 1 & 2, it turned out that they needed to group international backers all together. I suspect that despite assurances from their shipper that they wouldn't have to do it this time, it happened yet again. 

2. They may be so involved with the process and shipping things out, they may not be aware of our angst here - IE, no one is available to even read our comments.

That cryptic comment we got yesterday on KS created a bit of an issue I think BUT overall I live and breath by the saying I grew up with as a child.

 

"[REDACTED] happens."

 

We have no clue what is going on and why things changed (if they changed).  Until they get an update they are happy with written up we can just sit and wait a couple days more than we expected. After 9 months another day or 7 is not going to change much.  Bigger things going on in the world to be worried about than if my Bones get sent before someone else has theirs delivered.

There isn't any real doubt that *something* is different than what we were told to expect.  There is supposed to be an update between 2 and 3.  There has been no update, so either they haven't started on 3 yet, in which case their estimates of 1-2 days for the first two zones with 1 apparently done last Friday was way, way off, or they've started on 3 without the update.

On Kickstarter all faith is based on equal parts trust and communication. 

 

We all know we can trust Reaper to deliver, that's a given, but many people rely on clear communication from project creators.

Maybe switching the shipping software back and forth between the International and Domestic in between orders was a bottle neck

I know that I'm nobody special, and you have no reason to listen to me, but everyone please relax. I'm sure Reaper is doing the best they can; a month from now everyone will be playing with their new toys ( or at least waiting for their local mail carrier to drop off a large parcel on their doorstep ).

 

In the grand scheme of things, there really isn't anything to get all worked up about.

 

Now, everyone go sit in a corner, gently massage your earlobes and repeat after me:
