*looks at pledge list*

*looks at the nearest set of shelves*

*swipes everything off onto the floor*

There, that should be enough room for Ma'al drakar. ::):

...What's that? What about the rest of my pledge, you ask? Does anything else really matter? :upside:

Huzzah!

To avoid future problems, Bones IV will be shipped by launching the orders from a trebuchet.

Reaper employees are already practicing, to improve their aim - using large pumpkins.

When the Bones IV miniatures arrive, they will be loaded in large pumpkins, and then lofted from the largest trebuchet that Reaper can requisition.

ReaperBryan, LadyStorm, and everyone else at Reaper.  I work at Disney's Animal Kingdom. With the coming opening of Pandora World of Avatar one week from today I can totally sympathize with both your 60 hour weeks and non-disclosure agreements.

I will get my minis when I get them. (Won't have time to touch them for a while anyway, lol)

Get some rest and thank you for all your hard work. You guys rock.

Given the ability of Bones to withstand abuse, I would pay to have them shot via Trebuchet from Texas to Illinois...  I'd love to see the impact crater and to see if they survive!

Also, @ladystorm & @Reaperbryan Thank you for what you have been able to say.  I hope I'm not one that has gone down the path of angering you, as I had hoped to alleviate some frustrations before last night/this morning's purge of posts (mine understandably included).   I hope you both get some rest before next week's large amount of work begins again.

To make that distance they'd probably have to go high enough to make reentry a problem. Bonesium is very impact resistant but also very heat sensitive. You'd probably receive a big, shapeless blob of bonesium that survives the impact with little-to-no damage.

I actually hope the Reaper staff reads this. Hell, I wish I could tell them face to face so that they get the proper intonance:

I'm not mad. But I am upset. I understand that Reaper is working as hard as they can. And that Reaper cannot be held responsible for the bankruptcy of the shipping company. But Reaper could have been better at communications. I mean, this isn't the first multi million dollar Kickstarter. This shouldn't be an insurmountable obstacle.

In conclusion:

To any Reaper staff: I'm still excited about my product. I want all my soldiers and dragons and golems and brains-in-jars. I am happy and trust that you're working hard. I did expect a little better in terms of communications and considering that right now ANYTHING you say will be taken negatively by someone somewhere... Maybe it's time to let the shipping labels speak for themselves. Just pack stuff and then send it. People will be happy to get the packages when they do.

To those who feel like me: don't be jerks. To each other. Or Reaper. I feel the pain, my friends, but firing broadside at everyone here and at the KS comments is only going to make more hostility happen. The simple truth is that all we can do now is sit and wait until our boxes arrive.

To to those who want to defend Reaper: you're welcome to do so, but don't attack people for how they feel. I'm upset and you should respect that. My reasons are mine and the hostilities here would be a lot less if you wouldn't attack them. Same goes for other people. If you attack their feelings it will simply trigger their defensive mode.

Let's all try to get along. In the meantime I will keep refreshing my emails to get a shipping update.

Cheers,

Canadutchian

I have vague plans of building a "tavern in a shoe carton" for which I might use the Bones III townsfolk ... could also be a dungeon to show off the torture devices ...

Chris Palmer, do you have a picture of your pirate tavern handy?

I am unlocking this thread after removing the worst of the post flare up.

Reaper is a great company employed by many great people.

I have to be honest and tell you that removing posts just makes it look like you are covering things up.

I really like Reaper but if people are angry and all you do is race in and delete their posts it real just makes it look like you are the problem and not that all Reaper employees are trying hard to do everything they can.

I know Reaper employees are working very hard but now I do not know who was being unreasonable or if you are just gagging people on the forum.

Just food for thought.
