Fulfilling Reaper Bones 3: Post-Kickstarter Discussion

Well, I took an inventory of my empty mini cases, decided that I probably didn't have enough, and ordered 6 more chessex style large cases.

Thanks for your posts. I admit that I was concerned. Not because I thought I wouldn't be getting my stuff. I know better. This is, after all, my third Bones KS. My concern stemmed from my tendency to be, as my daughter tells me every time she can, an information freak (as opposed to a control freak. . .  ) and I honestly LOVE knowing what's going on. (I'm a process guy at work . . . and there may be a little OCD in there as well . . .  )

 

I also thank both of you and all of the other Reaper Peeps for all the hard work you folks do, and not just as part of the Bones 3 KS.

I'm going to store it the same way I stored my Bones 2, in the box that it came from and buried under other boxes. ^.^ (They sent my items in Khanjira master carton).

 Even though I had to sell off most of my Vampire box from the first KS and gave most of the rest away, I still have the box they came in and use it for storage of my unpainted Bones...

I didn't really order much from the latest KS, mostly paint, but if I had I rather imagine they'd end up getting stored in their shipping boxes under my painting table like everything else does.

 

 I do, however, need to go out and buy another grey Chessex box or two, or at organize my minis more efficiently.

I've been making Warlord armies from bones, been including Bones 3 stuff in my plotting. I ordered 2 Sledehammers, should I order a Khanjira to mount one to?

Dear Reaper,

 

Y'all have a great company, and I'm happy to support it when I can.  I'll be honest - I haven't followed this thread because I'm not worried about the project.  But I probably speak for a large number of people who quietly enjoy the work you produce, and don't gripe when things get a little haywire.  We know things go sideways, and we still work through it as best we can. 

 

Most people who have backed this haven't chimed in, because we don't worry about it.  You've proven to us that you'll hold up your end of the KS bargain.  We're happy to be your customers.

 

You've always treated your customers well, whether it's a routine order or helping a customer get a miscast piece fixed.  You are a great addition to the gaming hobby, and I can't imagine gaming for all these years without Reaper's miniatures at my table.

 You absolutely have to do a Sledgehammer mounted on a Khanjira like some war elephant carrying a ballista and firing crew on its back...

I also want to voice support for Reaper. I am sure it is frustrating now being able to be totally forthright now, having to wait till things clear up.

I have tried to speed paint some of my bones backlog, but if Bones 3 arrives within 20* days then I will simply have to integrate the bones.  

 

I am almost more excited about new paint, and definitely more worried about space for new paint.  It might be time to look into a paintrack.

I have cleared 98% of my bones backlog, all that's left is a handful of converted minis and gnolls/bugbears. Feeling pretty good about the amount i have assembly-line-speed-painted

Thank you for all the hard work done/being done/to be done for fulfillment. I'm sorry people are getting upset this far into the game.

 

 I have so many unpainted minis left from Bones I, I am in no rush to get Bones III.  I also understand that Murphy's Law is powerful, especially with thousands of orders, potentially millions of miniatures.  And I can vouch from personal experience that no other gaming company takes customer service more seriously.

 

So, because you all don't hear it nearly enough, Thank You again!

Oh yeah, I forgot about the heart surgery.... I forgot, was it a bicuspid aortic, or did you have the mitral replaced? Or was it something else!!!

 

i think you should have one one big Bones party!

 

While I'm going to reorganize all my Bones 1, 2 & 3 into different types again. Like all the bugbears, zombies, wizards and etc. then have a bag nearby to clean anytime I find myself just wasting time hanging out with the husband.

Can somebody post a picture of these chessex cases? I am intrigued. 

 

 

I bought a big tool box or parts sorting box awhile back. It was a bigger model than the one Bones II went into.
