I made flags for my ship (link in signature) by sandwiching triangles of fabric saturated with gloss acrylic medium between rollers made from chopsticks and allowing them to dry.  They've held up well.

I don't know if May is any better for you, but I'm working on getting miniature painting classes at MarCon in Columbus, Ohio

Mid- to late  May could work. We usually finish in the first week. Also, Ohio is closer to me. :-) Only about 8 hours. I've never heard of Marcon before. I should look into it. For that matter, I don't know why I've never bother going to Origins.

Origins is the only Con I go to anymore. Last year, I could only go for a day, and wound up placing in Reaper's Speed Paint. I couldn't come back for round 2, however. Only going for one day again this year, not sure if it's worth trying again.

So somebody on the Kickstarter comments said the Australian hub updated their FB page to say they will be ready to ship in July.

Is this true?

Yep, it is being posted out by Aetherworks, and they updated yesterday saying they expected to receive the container in July.  Nothing about how long shipping would be after that.

I got a metal colander I put in the pot, to keep the minis off the bottom when I boil them.  I want them water hot, not heating element hot; my ebonwing's wing has a permanent dent in it from not being careful

Received my wave 2 package in Michigan last night, only 15 pounds, I don't know how the rest of you do it.

Overall pleased. The froghemoth is great. Goremaw, Ogre Command Fire Giant Jailor all came out great as I expected. It seems like many of the new pieces have a slightly heavier, sturdier, more opaque resin. There is a decent amount of flashing and flimsyiness on the characters in the core but oh well they were mostly going to be dumped in the choose a new PC bin anyway.

The new rigid bonsium is nice, I like the option for weapon mods, and swords are pretty terrible on regular bones. But the downside is the detail is meh. Other colors would have been cute, but I am glad I didn't spend the money.

I think I could have used one more big dragon but it probably would just get dusty with the rest of the ones I have.

Really a great kickstarter to stock up on large baddies, giants, ogres, yeti, oni etc.

And for anyone who didn't get Titans of the Tide, you are missing out. The coral golem is a wonderful sculpt and the shipwreck golem is HUGE!.

I do something similar with a strainer.

Bamboo chopsticks are very useful for manipulating, moving, and positioning hot minis.

Ebonwrath's wing may not be your doing.  Mine has a ding in it too.  I tried boiling to straighten it, but it bent back again.  I suspect there is something off, either with the mold, or with the technique people are using to remove that wing from the mold.

I am regretting not getting multiples so I could have lots of the coral golem. I will have to pick up more at retail.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Behir..  I wish it was in the more rigid bonesium and that it wasn't integrated into the base.. I am surprised which models are in the harder bonesium versus the more traditional squishy stuff.

See, I *love* the Behir. It's one of my favorites. I'm so glad I got two Stoneskulls. There's so much awesomesauce in there.
