And just to make sure she puts me in my place as an amateur, my partner painted this Goremaw.

That gives me hope. I too ordered two and would love to receive a retail box to go with the other awesome giant boxes from previous campaigns. <nostalgia>Sigh. Remember when Cthulhu was enormous?</nostalgia> ::D:

It was the biggest item in the box. 33lbs of minis and it took up a good portion of the box. It seems like they just put in whatever fits best.

That wouldn't surprise me in the least. Reaper packers are expert Tetrisizers.

which is one reason i doubt i'll have a retail one xD semes like they'd have to bump me up to a larger box size to include it

I wouldn't say it's randomly determined who got the retail box vs the non retail, but box size wasn't a factor - we evaluated our supply and produced an algorithm to determine exactly how best to distribute 1,500 retail packaged versions without bias.

@nakosyour 9-10 am update was posted moments before the switch to wave 4 which I caught the roll over for.  If that helps.

I saw and based the number off of when I left my computer at 10:15 to run an errand.

Hourly update, I didn't post at noon but did grab a screenshot. 187 orders were processed between 11AM-12PM CDT. A total of 317 wave 4 orders has been processed so far. If wave 4 is of a similar size as wave 3 then wave 5 could potentially start near the end of business Friday.

@Reaperbryan guessing those of us who were missing our Ma'al will be getting the bagged version?  No biggie either way.  Just trying to plan storage.  'I don't know' is an acceptable answer

Considering that they were shorted the number of bagged Ma'al, there might actually be a good chance of getting the retail one.

I was considering offering my box at ReaperCon too, but that depends on if both get painted first. I know my husband won't be in a rush to paint his, so I doubt it'll be available by then.

Yeah I was wanting it for the artwork but also easy to store it.  My daughter wanted to paint it for Reapercon but I told her that may be a little overboard for a youth entry.  I would rather paint it as a family and we all get to paint a bit of it together.  Plus she has about 6 dragons she can choose from now.

OMG!  Jason Weibe helped create the new Dwarven line being released on Kickstarter by Tomb Guardians!  These minis look so cool and they are cheap!  I haven't seen anyone post about this yet but here is the link.  It starts tomorrow morning.  They also said Bobby Jackson and Gene Van Horne created there monsters in the set.  Cant wait.   I purchased there Amazons and they were fantastic!  I posted some pics.  Im assuming the Fire Demon and add ons are in Resin.

      A huge 2 for 1 KS!
(You get BOTH Humans and Halflings in one project! )
Bloody Peasants! by Midlam Miniatures — Kickstarter

      Story
"Oh no!  It's an armed agrarian uprising!"
Toiling in the fields for their feudal overlords, the peasants are equally quick to turn their tools to defending their lands from monstrous invaders or, when pressed to the limit, revolting and overturning cruel and greedy landowners.
      Bloody Peasants!
A selection of human and halfling farmers in 28mm scale miniatures for all of your fantasy games.
You can choose from humans, halflings or both!
      The Humans
A familiar sight in the villages surrounding Midlam.
      The Halflings
A smaller folk, doing the same jobs as the longshanks.

      It's a Midlam project, so you know what that means;
Maybe a stretch goal, very possibly an early fulfillment, and absolutely no nonsense.

I backed his last project (dice towers), and found them well worth what ended up being a long wait to get them. It seemed only right to share, 'cause he makes REALLY PRETTY THINGS. Go look.
