I could paint this weekend.. but I have passes to the pre grand opening of IKEA on Saturday and then I need to make all new SCA garb...  but I'm still eyeballing Goremaw...

I'm staying as far from Polaris as I can from now until forever because of that place...

And just to make sure she puts me in my place as an amateur, my partner painted this Goremaw.

I got an extra frost giant king and queen, but everything else is good.

Has anyone noticed the Retailer Bones 3 Assortment box in the store for $775?

Is it just me or is there a typo on the ad? Isn't $775 roughly 66% OF the $1137 value, not 66% OFF $1137 (ie 1/3 off)?

The MSRP is $775 for retialers, They probably get a discount for item cost, to get 66% off that would be half the MSRP of $775, or roughly $387.  So a pretty good deal if you own a store!

Origins.. I don't think I could convince my wife to do Lillies without a tornado shelter LOL

I think there's only been one tornado come close to Lilies. Although the last weekend seems to have a lot of high wind storms.

Most everyone here probably think I am nuts, but my box has been sitting here since Tuesday completely untouched.  It's still just a wonderful cat perch with Bryans name on it.

Me too.  I've been a bit busy.  I'm opening mine on Saturday.

IMG_2182.thumb.JPG.1c8f4e99ca9221ccbefbe3afb5601714.JPGWell, mine came in yesterday, and wrt storage space, I'm glad that the froghemoth is the only big add on.  I opened the boxes and primary bags; looks like it's all there, so kudos on the pick and pack system!

I don't know what I'll paint first; lots of fun stuff.

My only disappointment, really, was on the weapons sprues. Most of the weapons are just too big for my taste, and will need ogres or big Tre Manor orcs to wield them...

You mean like the ones in the Core Set?  I love Tre's orcs.

The problem here is Mrs Harrek working on a large cookie order.  And thus taking any free space I might have to spread things out and inventory.  I know better to stay out of her way!

Ive been savoring opening it up over several days .... spending time on each figure to appreciate them :P

I've been doing the same. I was out of town when my box arrived and have been slowly going through each set to make sure everything is there and sort them. So far just one arm is missing!

I locked in 8/19/15 wave 5. I was estimating I would be in the 8,000s but as we click down to that I am wondering if I was just a tad off. Back to the chalkboard...

I locked in Wave 4, in December so I figure I'm somewhere near the end of this Wave....

OMG!  Jason Weibe helped create the new Dwarven line being released on Kickstarter by Tomb Guardians!  These minis look so cool and they are cheap!  I haven't seen anyone post about this yet but here is the link.  It starts tomorrow morning.  They also said Bobby Jackson and Gene Van Horne created there monsters in the set.  Cant wait.   I purchased there Amazons and they were fantastic!  I posted some pics.  Im assuming the Fire Demon and add ons are in Resin.

      A huge 2 for 1 KS!
(You get BOTH Humans and Halflings in one project! )
Bloody Peasants! by Midlam Miniatures — Kickstarter
"Oh no!  It's an armed agrarian uprising!"
Toiling in the fields for their feudal overlords, the peasants are equally quick to turn their tools to defending their lands from monstrous invaders or, when pressed to the limit, revolting and overturning cruel and greedy landowners.
      Bloody Peasants!
A selection of human and halfling farmers in 28mm scale miniatures for all of your fantasy games.
You can choose from humans, halflings or both!
      The Humans
A familiar sight in the villages surrounding Midlam.
      The Halflings
A smaller folk, doing the same jobs as the longshanks.
      It's a Midlam project, so you know what that means;
Maybe a stretch goal, very possibly an early fulfillment, and absolutely no nonsense.

I'm backing this because the kobolds look more like Scottish terriers!
$100 level has 40+ miniatures and FREE USA shipping!
RBJ Game Company has created 18 KS projects, mostly miniatures. Let me know your experience with them if you backed before.

Become a villain in this retro-inspired board game. Draft terrain tiles, recruit monsters, build your map, and become the Overlord!
I'm a fan of Boss Monster, so I backed this too. Already funded and delivery projected for October of this year.

I backed his last project (dice towers), and found them well worth what ended up being a long wait to get them. It seemed only right to share, 'cause he makes REALLY PRETTY THINGS. Go look.
