I locked in Wave 4, in December so I figure I'm somewhere near the end of this Wave....

I'm Wave 4, November 18th. I'm betting we get our notices sometime around lunchtime tomorrow.

And just to make sure she puts me in my place as an amateur, my partner painted this Goremaw.

I could live with that!  ::P:

I had a moment where I opened my Gmail and there were two emails and one said shipped and the other said Reaper, and my heart skipped until I realized they were two different companies.    Nice to know my Warsenal terrain is on it's way, but not the shipping notice I was really hoping for today!

I made flags for my ship (link in signature) by sandwiching triangles of fabric saturated with gloss acrylic medium between rollers made from chopsticks and allowing them to dry.  They've held up well.

Slightly diluted white glue works as well. It can also be used to 'drape' a piece of terrain - rough in the general shape with scraps, then cover with glue soaked fabric.

Let dry, then brush on some more glue, then sand and flock as desired.

Waiting for Megan to get her notice. ::): It is a good thing that Reaper sent out warnings to make sure on addresses - it was set to ship to our old address - which isn't where we have lived since before the Bones III Kickstarter even began - it had just been a long time since she had backed a Kickstarter, instead of riding on one of mine, so the addie was a wee bit dated.

She changed it to her mum's, because there is something that she does not want to see before my Birthday or Christmas, depending on when she can get it finished.

The Auld Grump - white glue can also be used to remove dried on paint from palettes - squeeze a generous amount of glue over the dried on paint, allow to dry, then peel away the glue - the paint will come off with it. ::):

Timely post. I just found a bunch of old palettes with lots of dry paint on them. I'm going to give this a try.

Now that it's getting closer to the finish line I get more and more impatient. I have moved countries since the Kickstarter began (from Germany to England). I hope the container gets to the distributer soon. Has anyone not gotten Goremaw? I logged him in too! xD also super excited about the titans of the tide!

Impressions so far:

-The clear weapons are amazingly cool! They are a bit brittle, though; I accidentally snapped a few removing them from the sprue before I switched to using nail scissors to clip them out, which worked MUCH better

- Several of the figures are nicely bigger than anticipated. Kyra and Lavarath are the only ones that were smaller than I was expecting

- Some of the translucent weapon sprues have a few missing weapons; however, they all have multiple copies of each weapon, plus Reaper included extra sprues of several of the sets, so there's more than enough :)

- The solar's wings don't look quite as strange close up as they did on the KS page

- Brain in a jar is one of my new favorites!

- Kyphrixis (sp) is even cooler in person! It's a lovely sculpt, and would look bigger if it weren't sitting by Ma'al

- The behir is incredibly dynamic, it's all twisted around on itself and looks amazing!

Back to inventory!

It's a bit different, actually. Kyra's flag and the tombstones in the Graveyard expansion are 100% hard, and make a clinking noise when tapped on a hard surface. They remind me of board game pieces, and I don't know whether boiling will have any effect. I will do some SCIENCE later today to find out. :)

Goremaw approves of the new toolboxes I bought for sorting purposes. ^_^

I hadn't seen Goremaw or  Frog-Mouth in the same pic as Ma'al, The computer screen helps with the scale. Goremaw looks great. Much better than the WotC purple worm I intent to use him as. Wish I'd gotten some Frog-Mouths. Were they originally used in the old sci-fi AD&D module S4? I'd only seen the drawn version of them from the kickstarter and not realized what a huge thing of beauty they are.

OMG!  Jason Weibe helped create the new Dwarven line being released on Kickstarter by Tomb Guardians!  These minis look so cool and they are cheap!  I haven't seen anyone post about this yet but here is the link.  It starts tomorrow morning.  They also said Bobby Jackson and Gene Van Horne created there monsters in the set.  Cant wait.   I purchased there Amazons and they were fantastic!  I posted some pics.  Im assuming the Fire Demon and add ons are in Resin.

      A huge 2 for 1 KS!
(You get BOTH Humans and Halflings in one project! )
Bloody Peasants! by Midlam Miniatures — Kickstarter

      Story
"Oh no!  It's an armed agrarian uprising!"
Toiling in the fields for their feudal overlords, the peasants are equally quick to turn their tools to defending their lands from monstrous invaders or, when pressed to the limit, revolting and overturning cruel and greedy landowners.
      Bloody Peasants!
A selection of human and halfling farmers in 28mm scale miniatures for all of your fantasy games.
You can choose from humans, halflings or both!
      The Humans
A familiar sight in the villages surrounding Midlam.
      The Halflings
A smaller folk, doing the same jobs as the longshanks.

      It's a Midlam project, so you know what that means;
Maybe a stretch goal, very possibly an early fulfillment, and absolutely no nonsense.

I'm backing this because the kobolds look more like Scottish terriers!

$100 level has 40+ miniatures and FREE USA shipping!

RBJ Game Company has created 18 KS projects, mostly miniatures. Let me know your experience with them if you backed before.

I backed his last project (dice towers), and found them well worth what ended up being a long wait to get them. It seemed only right to share, 'cause he makes REALLY PRETTY THINGS. Go look.
