And just to make sure she puts me in my place as an amateur, my partner painted this Goremaw.

I got an extra frost giant king and queen, but everything else is good.

For dry fitting: Arms and legs seem to fit fine, though the necks are rather heavy and the downward angle of them meant mine wouldn't stay in. Wings wouldn't stay in.

glued up mostly fits great, though around the necks are some bigger gaps. Wings, tail, arms and legs fit good with little to no visible gap

This was the first time I had seen Customs inspections open and reseal a package, and I've received overseas packages from Japan for two decades now....

My grandmother once had a package seized by customs. It wasn't fun.

When I was younger we used to get regular packages of stuff from my relatives in Germany. Chocolates, candies, powdered gravy/salad dressing mixes, that sort of stuff. And one of the things we used to love getting was a kind of canned meat that I couldn't tell you the name of, but which I wish I could remember. It was sort of like a head cheese, with a meat center surrounded by jellied juices. It was delicious. But then the mad cow disease scare happened, and they started to get really paranoid about packages from Germany. One time my uncle tried to send a package and it all got seized because he had a few cans of that stuff in it. Apparently it was missing one type of regulatory approval for export, though it had the others. They seized the whole package and fined my grandmother something like $300.

I would say I'm about 90% done with assembly.  All of these save for the sphinx and Manticore are completely assembled.  Not shown would be Mal, Shubbadubdub, Dagon, my mausoleum and that weird grave creature that came with it.  So far Ive had a perfect order.  No missing parts or minis.  I have yet to open Shubbadubdub (yes I know that's not his name)  he looks like a lot of pieces..

OMG!  Jason Weibe helped create the new Dwarven line being released on Kickstarter by Tomb Guardians!  These minis look so cool and they are cheap!  I haven't seen anyone post about this yet but here is the link.  It starts tomorrow morning.  They also said Bobby Jackson and Gene Van Horne created there monsters in the set.  Cant wait.   I purchased there Amazons and they were fantastic!  I posted some pics.  Im assuming the Fire Demon and add ons are in Resin.

      A huge 2 for 1 KS!
(You get BOTH Humans and Halflings in one project! )
Bloody Peasants! by Midlam Miniatures — Kickstarter
"Oh no!  It's an armed agrarian uprising!"
Toiling in the fields for their feudal overlords, the peasants are equally quick to turn their tools to defending their lands from monstrous invaders or, when pressed to the limit, revolting and overturning cruel and greedy landowners.
      Bloody Peasants!
A selection of human and halfling farmers in 28mm scale miniatures for all of your fantasy games.
You can choose from humans, halflings or both!
      The Humans
A familiar sight in the villages surrounding Midlam.
      The Halflings
A smaller folk, doing the same jobs as the longshanks.
      It's a Midlam project, so you know what that means;
Maybe a stretch goal, very possibly an early fulfillment, and absolutely no nonsense.

I'm backing this because the kobolds look more like Scottish terriers!
$100 level has 40+ miniatures and FREE USA shipping!
RBJ Game Company has created 18 KS projects, mostly miniatures. Let me know your experience with them if you backed before.

Become a villain in this retro-inspired board game. Draft terrain tiles, recruit monsters, build your map, and become the Overlord!
I'm a fan of Boss Monster, so I backed this too. Already funded and delivery projected for October of this year.

I backed his last project (dice towers), and found them well worth what ended up being a long wait to get them. It seemed only right to share, 'cause he makes REALLY PRETTY THINGS. Go look.
