Reaper Bones 3: Post-Kickstarter Discussion

I still haven't gotten any notice... are they actually sending the lost Canadian orders out? I'll admit I'm starting to feel despondent about the lack of news about what's going on with my order.

It's always possible that there's another issue going on with your order other than being one of the "overlooked Canadians".

Double check your spam folder for emails from Reaper and if nothing's there wait for Reaper to put out the update on how to proceed.

I know my order has left Reapers hands as I have a link for USPS tracking. It hasn't been updated for a few days but I know from previous experience that this is nothing unusual.

Edit: I just double checked my order tracking. It looks like it was processed through Canada Customs today and tracking through Canada Posts gives me a 1-12 day delivery window.

I sent an email on more than a week ago and haven't heard boo. I religiously check all my folders (I've got several kickstarters in fulfillment) - the address they have is exactly the same as the one they had when they sent me hecklemeyer and styx the other month. At this point, as a customer, I shouldn't be asked to guess at what I've done wrong. Because the problem is not on my end.

I'm not blaming anyone, it's just sort of a bummer and I'd like news about what's up.

I know they are really busy but it's hard not to be disappointed at the lack of communication regardless. I know I'll get my stuff. I can live with the wait, but I'd really like the courtesy of being told my order hasn't been swallowed by the void. I'm not blaming anyone, it's just sort of a bummer.

I understand your frustration but Reaper had stated that their priority was getting all the shipments out the door and that after that they would be putting out an update on the process for dealing with missing or incorrect shipments.

I'm not surprised that your email went unanswered even though I believe it likely was read. It would've been received at the height of fulfilment and Reaper doesn't have the staff to deal with massive Kickstarter fulfilment and order issues at the same time.

Again my best advice is for a little more patience to wait for the update.

Strangeness. I have misplaced Sir Forscale I.  Luckily I had purchase another. Sir Forscale II next to the dragon.

Awesome, thanks for doing that. Smaller than I was expecting

Your first email was answered.  Your second one, the one where you replied to the response, was not.

Tracking is still showing my package sitting in Denton. I know from experience that this doesn't necessarily mean anything, it could be half way to Kansas City now. So I have decided that it's Schrodinger's package, it's both moving and stationary at the same time. Oh, and there's a cat in the package. :)

"We're looking into it" isn't really an answer. Not when it's not followed up with further information.

I expect if someone is actually looking into to something that they will communicate what as been found/the plan for action when they do look into it. If you meant "we'll look into it in three weeks" I would actually have preferred folks to say so.

It's standard practice as a customer to ask a follow up question if your order still hasn't appeared and no plans for sending it have been communicated. I waited more than a week before asking for further information. My order was messed up and missed. Twice. First with other Canadian orders and then with my wave order. I don't think it's villainous to request information on it.

Uh oh, the giants are about to awaken.......

OK. With that picture, I officially regret not ordering Marthrangul.

I hope you're pleased with yourself.

Nobody called you a villain.

We've been very busy, and until today we were answering these emails in our off-time, because our on-the-clock time was spent pulling orders. We beg patience.

I'm trying to be patient! I promise. I know you are all working hard over there. I have no doubt you're going constantly.

Sorry for getting cranky. I really didn't mean to gripe, but getting told to check my spam folders again kind of put me over the edge there.

I've gotten your order details from LadyStorm and I'm investigating.

As with the message above, I've got million things on my desk (and LS has over 1600 emails about this KS She's processing) but I promise she and i are looking into every report -- although in some cases we're waiting for the update to go out because there's a ton of good data in it

Finally got through checking all my miniatures off on my list, and trying out some fits. Nothing missing or incorrectly provided, as far as I can tell. All in all, very pleased with everything I've gotten, with one exception - the Behir. I love Behirs for reasons I can't explain, and I've got the Huge Behir mini from DDM's first Huge set, which I've used for ages. I was really happy that a Behir was in the Stoneskull expansion, and the render looked gorgeous. The problem with it is one of scale. Behirs are supposed to be huge beasts, able to constrict regular humans and generally imposing, Now that I've got it in my hands... well...

Spoiler

Behirs_zpsd9lnidpl.jpg

It's so much smaller. Not marginally so, but significantly smaller. While the original Behir is, honestly, a little too large to fit the base, but this is just so tiny in comparison. I'm not sure what to do at this point. One down-side, but otherwise, the minis in my possession are excellent and I can't wait to get to painting them...

Baby behir maybe?

I know the name but not very familiar with behirs. When were they introduced?

      EDIT: It's live! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/oathsworn/oathsworn-burrows-and-badgers-anthro-miniatures-mouse-dog-cat

We love miniatures. We love tabletop games. We love anthropomorphic animals, from Disney's Robin Hood through The Wind in the Willows to Brian Jaques' Redwall books. So we combined the things we love in our Burrows & Badgers tabletop skirmish game and the accompanying range of miniatures. And our Kickstarter backers have already helped us to grow the range to over 100 miniatures - but now it's time to add some more!

      Some miniatures from previous projects...

Why are we making more miniatures?
Because we want more characters for our Burrows & Badgers games – my Freebeast warband needs reinforcements, for a start!
And we know a lot of other people are looking for more anthropomorphic animal miniatures too. A lot of people are playing Burrows & Badgers now, and many of them have asked for Massive Hounds and a Massive Raptor, so we've sculpted them! Some will want to use them for other tabletop or roleplaying games, while others love painting miniatures, and our figures are perfect for that, full of character ready to be brought to life with your paintbrush....
And some people just love collecting miniatures; again, we've made this new set of Burrows & Badgers figures perfect for collectors. They are all single piece models, with integral bases, so there are no fiddly parts to be glued on.
We love making miniatures; we hope you'll love our miniatures too.

      Why we need your help...
We've got 17 new miniatures sculpted, but they need to have moulds made before we can start producing the miniatures. And that's why we need funding; to get the production moulds made, and get the casting process started.

      About the miniatures...
There are other ranges of anthropomorphic animal miniatures out there, but ours are a little different. We didn't want all the races of animals to be the same size. Instead, we've scaled them to each other; so a shrew or a mouse is a very small model, about 20mm tall, and a really big animal like a badger will stand about 50mm tall, for example.
Each sculpted figure shown below has a scale picture with it, showing its height in millimetres. All our models are supplied unpainted.

      The Pledges
We’re keeping it as simple as possible; there’s an ‘All-in’ pledge, which gets you all the new miniatures in this Kickstarter, and any bonus bits that may come along… there’s also a ‘Pick’n’Mix’ Pledge, if you just want to get a few of the new miniatures. For the Pick'n'Mix, just total up the prices of all the miniatures you want, and pledge for that amount. There's a minimum pledge of £10. There's only six of the sculpts shown so far, but expect more to be added regularly... I'll probably add two or three a day!

      ^Minimum of £10

      Pledge Level: The Great £40

      Pledge Level: The Small £64

      Pledge Level: All In £99

Found this on kickstarter, seems a very useful handle, the idea of the ring is super and  I find that the way it turn upside-down it's brilliant!

Maybe the shipping for EU it's a bit too hight considering it ship from UK... but at least it is not overpriced.

I'm in for the early basic :)

Morana, 75 mm Morana was once a champion of the sacred order of the Radiant Fist. During a mission, the dark wizard Shahrivar cast a curse over her and traped her soul in a gem. Since then his body has become the wizard´s tool, bringing death and disease wherever she goes.
Akanksha, 75 mm Heiress to the throne of Shin Kingdom was always known for her diplomatic skills and her sword mastery. In one of her many diplomatic meetings, she received as a gift a pendant in the shape of a heart and, since then, there has been no desire which have refused or a lover that have rejected. It must be said that the tensions between the neighbouring kingdoms are more relaxed than ever.
Najwa, 75 mm  At another time, Najwa was the high priestess in the Sharated Temple. The Great Tremorrevealed an ancient buried room in the depths of the temple that contained writings from a thousand years ago. She was the first to study them and learned dark and forbidden knowledge which poisoned her body and soul. The high wizard Lucianus tried to save her but it was too late, she destroyed the temple and was lost in the night.
Here you can see a comparative image of the projected height for the miniatures in both versions. Has you can see, the 75 mm scale will offer an excellent miniature for your shelf and the 32 mm scale will fit in any boardgame and wargames that you can imagine.
In adition, some parts have been changed from the 75 mm scale to the 32 mm scale to avoid too small details and give the best painting experience.
Here you can see the reward levels offered in this campaign. You can find the full information about every offer in the reward list of the campaign and, if you have any doubt, don´t hesitate to ask.
Here you can see the stretch goals that are planned for this campaign and they correspond to new extra characters that will be fully revealed during the campaign. When we reach the corresponding objective, their miniatures in both versions will be added to the available Add-Ons.  All those who opt for the Fallen Maidens reward may access to a special offer of these characters.
Although only tree Strech goals are scheduled, I would add new characters in case the campaign reached higher goals. If this happens I will consider your suggestions to create new characters that captivate you.
The add-ons are additional items you may be interested in adding to the rewards that correspond to your pledge level. To include an add-on, simply add its specified value in € to the amount of your pledge.
When the campaign ends you will receive the backer survey where you will be able to specify which add-ons you want to include.
Here you will find the available fantasy football products. If you missed the Asgard´s Sons campaign, this is your chance to get them and obtain exclusive characters.
All shipping will be delivered by ordinary postal mail. How is it possible that there is a great disparity in the size of the packages, the shipping costs will be calculated according to each order to be fair. When the campaign ends and once the survey is done, the backers will be contacted to collect the shipping costs through Paypal just before sending each order. We can not ship to PO Boxes.
If you come to Pamplona to pick up your order you will save these expenses and we can also meet in person!
So you can get an idea of how much these costs will be, here you have a list of the estimated value of the shipments.
I will do my best to keep these cost to the minimum possible. The shipping is planned to begin in March 2020. However, depending on the production requirements, it might change.
For those who opt for the Add-Ons level, it is possible that they receive their rewards sooner, It will depend if I have already available what they want to purchase or it must be manufactured.
Further information will be posted on the updates of this project.
The master model of every miniature will be printed by 3DA Impresiones, a company that specializes in prototype.
The resin miniatures will be manufactured by GRX Creations known by his high quality.
      Risks and challenges
All designs are not a final product and can suffer changes during the manufacturing process.
Due to production requirements, the planned date to begin the shipping process might be changed due to the amount of the pieces needed and other factors out of my control. However, I will keep you updated on any changes.
If you do not accept the terms of the campaign, please do not pledge on this project but instead wait for the general release.
