Actually Bane they are allowing us to add in more items to be locked into our order. That was mentioned in the update. SO long as the final before no more additions can be added does not include anything I don't mind a couple surprises along the way...

Seriously though I like the idea of being able to add more items on until about 90 days out from shipping start. We can add more items on. Which is really good as I have almost 600 dollars worth of stuff I want to add on...

Will there be any more update like this in the future or is this it? People should know before locking in their order....+1 for the fire giants...

I don't know what you mean.

Yes there will be more updates.

We are not planning at this time to add any additional rewards to the system, although I will not state that this won't happen as a 100% certainty.

If people do "lock in" their order they can always come back later and add more at any time, so while we're certain that most of our users will only "lock in once" and thus it is important that all rewards be visible as soon as possible, it is not necessary, as additional funds may be aded even to orders that are "locked in".

I spend the afternoon painting and I miss all the excitement ...

Cool news but ... need more info on those giants.

75 mm to where exactly?  The female stands 70 mm to the top of her hair right now.   The male is 57 mm to the top of his head, 60 mm to the top of his shoulders, and 91 mm to the top of his sword.

Is he going to be resized larger than her?  Is this some kind of gender thing?  Don't you realize this is the kind of partial information that is going to haunt me for weeks and deprive me of sleep?

ok, here's all I have to compare the intended sizes:

From Bryan (or whomever is currently posting form the Project Creator account currently):

@Bench - Larger versions of the models from Bones 1. Now that we understand the material and process better, we wanted to redo them in the size the Monster Books say they are.

@R Statler - new sculpts (because the originals weren't digital and cannot be upscaled easily) but we anticipate the same poses and a greater level of detail to go along with the increased size.

Ok, so, I apologize if I'm being dense here, but can someone clarify this please? Are the current giants just getting 'biggerized', or will they be new poses?

Also, there's no price on the 3" bases. They're not free, are they?

They're not free... I'm not sure why you aren't seeing a price.

They are getting biggerized, and along with rescultping there may be some slight incidental alteration of pose, but no MAJOR pose changes are intended at this time

I am very interested in these clear weapons. Trying to decide if I need one of each. Do you know if they will still be rigid when clear?

Yes, they will be in clear colored styrene, similar to the plastic used in those clear sword stir sticks you sometimes see in bars. The pledge manager says transparent, but this word was left out of the Update text. I shall have myself beaten as a reminder to be more thorough in the future. ;)
Remember to have yourself flogged as well, for what you're doing to our economies...

      Hi chums!

This is the latest Kickstarter project, expanding our fantasy range this time, and bringing light to the ones we have that might not have been noticed. Along with some super cool female minis, we have some brand new scenics too, and a whole bunch of add on bundles.
I'll post more on the lead up, but for now if you're interested, could you click the "notify me" on the pre launch page and it will help the algorithms, and you know algorithms are the new gods!

A new kickstarter from Crooked Dice. I've been following the publicity for this and it really appeals to me. Lots of very colourful figures and most of them are a nice change from the usual predictable gun-toting heavies. I've collected plenty of Crooked Dice figures over the years and always been very pleased with the quality.

      Story
Welcome everyone to the Kickstarter campaign for Sun & Moon. Two highly detailed 1:20 scale (90mm) resin kits  cast in high quality resin. Sun Is roughly 100mm to the top of his head!
Sun & Moon comparisment: Sun stands at nearly 100mm!!!
This has been the project that has been the longest in the works and also our most expensive one to date! We could really use your help to bring these two kits onto the market so we do hope that you like what you see and will be able to back us and help us spread the word! :)
      Story
Many years back, the idea to do some themed knights popped into my head and out of all of those, Sun & Moon were the ones that really stuck and kept coming back in my thoughts.  The idea to do two characters that are opposites of each other in every way really appealed to me.
      Sun
You have the Sun Knight, devout follower of the Sun God, a fiery and strong warrior with everything about him representing his deity. I can just see him painted in bright and warm colours that embody the very essence of the Sun!
      Moon
And then you have the Moon Knight, a cool and brooding figure that operates under the cover of darkness, guided by the wisdom of the Moon Goddess. Very much a deadly warrior in her own right! Painted in moody hues that represent the colours that only moonlight can shower the world in.

Nice models and one of the SG is a 20% discount on the Kimera Colors range (They will open a pre-order for their "almost-impossible-to-buy" colors at the end of April)
