I like mouslings, and not just because I'll be running Mouseguard for my grandaughters one day, but I had to order more because I can't find the ones I had. I suspect that, by the rather plump and satisfied look on the constrictor figure I had stored in the box next to the mouslings box, that I should move them to a different display case.

I know, I know! They're super cute sculpts, but just don't do anything for me when it comes to gaming paraphernalia. If that was what I was looking for, then I actually prefer the general style of the Bonesylvanians, and I skipped them for similar reasons of function over fashion. These chibis will simply never see the gaming table, so they'd only end up being decorative collectibles for me. I do really like my Legion of Justice and Caeke peeps though... so go figure. :P

I am given to understand that the clear weapon sprues may have some suspiciously laser sword like sections of 'sprue'...

 

ETA:  Of course now I can't find where I read that.  Bryan?

Now I am envisioning a mousling with with a laser blade, one with buns on the side of her head, one wearing a vest with a blaster, and another with extra shaggy fur..maybe even a couple with decently sized helmets that seem to cause voice alteration somehow...

This is my understanding as well. As it happens I have 42 prototypes in my office for approval, but none of them are the weapon sprues, so I am unable to confirm at 100% accuracy, although I should say the spear we chose was selected specifically because it was a cylinder, so should one chop off the spear tip, it could act as any sort of clear, colored tube. Whether the final sprue has the cylindrical support channel we requested remains to be confirmed.

While I love the female giant & the 2 big brutes that were shown before this update, I just can't get into the frost giant king. To me, he look too much like a old He-Man style action figure from the 80s. If his sculpt was a bit more dynamic I'd prob not think that. I'll prob end up getting him someday just not right now.
