When will the more recent Solar Sculpt be in the pledge mangler?

I believe you have  fundamental misunderstanding of how the PM works.

 

There will be ONE solar sculpt produced in Bones, for the purposes of Bones III fulfillment and the Pledge Manager.

 

That I do not obsessively update the images is irrelevant - the one we showcased in the latest update to feature it, which will be showcased again in a future update when the prototype is ready, is the one you will receive, regardless of which artwork is visible in the PM.

 

So if you pledge for the Solar, you are pledging for THE Solar. Not A Solar, not a given version, not the specific set show versus a revision etc. The only one we are making for this project.

 

The Updates are the final word or what the model will look like, not the art used 9 months ago in the RPM.

If you had $10 to play with, what would you add? 

 

I was looking at the clear wings and such and kind of wishing for clear bases, too.  The flat rounds could be used to represent flying or invisible figures during a game...

Clear bases,if produced at all, can be made at our facility on existing molds (we made some for CAV, for instance) and would not need to be part of a Kickstarter, I would need only to be instructed to produce them.

 

On a lark I have run 2 different of our existing bases in clear material, but not enough for a production run.

I actually use color coded translucent bases for Malifaux. I could see them being useful as counters as well.

Frost Giants and Ogres are good choices too.

I think the jailer is easily in the lead for my favorite giant. So unique I don't think I can justify more than one, though.

Also added the Clear Kyphrixis so I can use the Tamiya Clear Smoke to make a shadow dragon that actually looks like shadow.

And those DVDs?

 

And the possibility of clear bases? I don't even know what I'd do with them (I know, not part of the kickstarter) but I want them.

You just need to convince her that the DVDs will help you become a pro painter and let you take on lucrative commissions so that the hobby can pay for itself.
