Reaper Bones 3: Post-Kickstarter Discussion

Recommended Posts

I need to get a airbrush and start practicing for when that dragon arrives. It just can't be done with just brushes! :o

I won't be in the competition, but I will be painting him with just brushes.

I do need a tilting cake turntable for him, though.

You know... I bet a Ma'al Drakar statue in the middle of my Frostgrave table would look really nice... And painting it as a statue would be super easy... maybe I do need 2?

OF COURSE you do!

Now you've done it.

You're gonna need a bigger brush.

Shoot, that one's splayed a bit. I wanted to use it for eyeballs.

You guys really aren't kidding when you say there's no industry standard on what a size 0 brush is.

That brush would be great if you wanted to make some almighty mountains or happy clouds on your dragons.

But what of my happy trees?  Won't someone think of the Happy Trees?!  :upside:

I have spent as much as I dare on the project.  I'm done.  I really wanted more mythos stuff, but I couldn't justfiy it.

Just took a final trip into the PM and added Marthrangul, Frost Giant King & Queen, and the Jessica Rich DVD set.

I'm NOT going to add up the total I've spent on all my transactions there...

Yessss. I needed 2 of them. One will represent the King of Dragon in my setting. The other will be Tiamat by order of the mother, which worries me actually.

I'm a fan of Boss Monster, so I backed this too. Already funded and delivery projected for October of this year.

I backed his last project (dice towers), and found them well worth what ended up being a long wait to get them. It seemed only right to share, 'cause he makes REALLY PRETTY THINGS. Go look.

I have me a bit of a dubious, largely because I'm not certain these will, in fact, work for anybody. But. Still.. the concept is pretty damn cool.

"Tilt Five is a whole new way to play games, in Augmented Reality (AR), with freaking holograms!
When you slip on the Tilt Five glasses and look at the game board, a vibrant 3D world opens up to you.  Suddenly chasms seem to drop infinitely into your table, and game characters and monsters spring up from the game board.  This is gaming unlike anything you've experienced before.
"When we started designing the Tilt Five system our focus wasn't on the technology for technology's sake.  We wanted to provide an amazing gaming experience that blends the things you love about video games and board games. And we wanted it to be just as fun when playing solo, together with your friends, or even when you're apart."  Jeri Ellsworth, Co-Founder & CEO "

Be interesting to see if this lives up to itself.
