Completed Stonehaven Halfling Adventurers

I was doing some assuming, and of course when I assume it makes an etc., etc., but to be fair I don't believe they've at all mentioned the actual size of these minis in an official capacity. Not on the front page, anyway. May've slipped by me in an update. I'm glad I just by chance saw it come up in the comments; I like being better informed, even if by accident.

 

I'm not panicking and pulling a pledge, yet, but this does seem a relevant factor for me.

14mm to the eyes. Literally a halfling. Smaller than the gnomes, but more consistantly sized.

Stumbled across the "Mysterious Stranger" in my to-prime pile, tonight, and figured it's a pretty decent point of comparison for the halflings, maybe a touch shorter to the eyes if I's measuring properly. I think I can deal with it. Fine detail'd probably be a real woof for me, but I've been known to glass that over, anyway.

I don't really like my chances of painting such small figures well, but I think Stonehaven's figures can suit a pretty simple look. Which is good since that's all I provide!

 

I would really like to see a project of all big creatures from them though. As much as I like the metal figures, the real highlight for me has always been the trolls (and the treant looks like being similarly great). The original troll is probably the most fun I've had painting a mini, and all of them have been really enjoyable to work on.

Hm ... that pledge level where you can choose 10 minis is very interesting ... heat is making me dumb ... is there any information concerning the shipping costs to Germany for that pledge level?

I'm not that into Dino's but that one is adorable. What got me...First they offered a pony with a cart, then they offered a ram. Then they added the you pick option again which is the only way I would have pledged. I don't need any of it, so to be able to pick and choose add ons was a must for me.

Yes, doing pick 5 and adding on the others I want. I have a vision of a townies diorama. With some half orcs, dwarves (I'll need to get some of theirs) and halfings. Featuring awesome pony and cart, guy on raptor ( don't really know where that fits in but whatevs it's awesome) the ram for some reason or other, some bird folk just cause.....Idk it's all in my magination.....need the treant on there somewhere.....it'll a be pretty busy town. :-)
