Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted November 11, 2016 Moderator Share Posted November 11, 2016 I'd like to see a translucent Ice elemental. I'm thinking something quite tall and thin, with rough edges like seen on the edge of icebergs and/or glaciers. Photos in spoilers for reference of what I mean. Or alternatively it could be a more droopy melty version with icicles along its edges. Although that would be more difficult to cast.
ced1106
Some backers of Mythic Battles: Pantheon prefer the "classic" / generic image of Greek titans, gods, monsters, and heroes. Perhaps Reaper could offer sculpts that could be used as alternates for MB. Also, the original MB did not have miniatures, so Reaper could offer a miniatures set that owners of the original MB would be interested in. On another thread, there's been talk of miniatures for the Red Dragon Inn franchise. Considering that RDI has an RPG supplement, maybe contact the Slugfest folks and see if they'd be interested in a line of Reaper miniatures based on the RDI characters. I've met the Slugfest guys, and they're a great group of gamers to work with.
Cranky Dog
Anyway, I actually came here to ask for some sort of mass quantity of a small, two legged raptor like lizard that I could paint up and use as Shocker Lizards. We've seen a demand for dinosaurs. We've seen a constant demand for MOAR DRAGONS! But I've yet to see a proper demand for prehistoric dragons/proto-dragons/draconic dinosaurs. I'm reminded of a Discovery Channel mockumentary docufiction called The Last Dragon (known as Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real in the US). Back then, I found the prehistoric dragon towering over the T-Rex quite impressive.
Members SamuraiJack
Maybe we'll see the mythical Pathfinder Black Dragon?
ced1106
Trees! Some preference for creepy trees to go with the Bones III graveyard. Maybe even a hangin' tree for an Old West Deadlands game!
fectin
Urban Legends (though perhaps as an add-on). Many of the discontinued larger model kits.
Glitterwolf
Enormous Insects like the Prehistoric Meganeura. I know you could use toys, but Bones are way more detailed and better suited for painting and converting. ultrasquid
Other enormous insects and other beasts like those from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, but, you know, not specifically those. And some of the character types and freaky airplanes too.
haldir
Clockwork Spider (or whatever; clockwork dragon was great) A big one like in Wild Wild West (Will Smith version, don't judge me!!! ) would be awesome. Allow figures to ride in the cockpit or allow the minis inside the "belly" part.
Moderator OneBoot Posted November 15, 2016 Moderator Share Posted November 15, 2016 I'm thinking the Krungbeast would make a great candidate for Bones: http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Reptus/sku-up/14139 Huzzah! --OneBoot :D
Moderator Chaoswolf Posted November 15, 2016 Moderator Share Posted November 15, 2016 I agree! I have some ogres just waiting for something like that to use as mounts.
Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted November 15, 2016 Moderator Share Posted November 15, 2016 I'd like to see 14632: Kargir Tundra Beast Rider in Bones. At $21.79 for the metal version he's a bit pricey for folks wanting to make a unit or two of these for army level wargames. Plus Bones would be a lot easier to convert to give each its own unique look.
