Bones You'd Like to See, thread #3

I've just been painting  77141: Townsfolk: Oswald the Overladen, and I'd really like to see a complete set of bearers and beasts of burden in the same vein. Maybe three or five variations on human bearers, and maybe a couple or three each of pack mules and camels.

The animals could be quite easily varied by making individualized pack-loads to go on generic beasts — it would be a bit more difficult to do that convincingly with human bearers though.

Of course it would be great to be able to get sets of each of European(ish), Arab(ish) and African(ish) bearers.

My PCs really need a plentiful supply of poorly-paid peons to carry their stuff and be eaten by monsters.

I'm pretty sure it's already somewhere in the thread, but I would really like to see more female enemies/monsters, especially of the more primitive creatures.

Like:

- Female Orcs

- More female giants (not just the pretty ones, a female Hill giant would be great)

- Female Hobgoblins

- Female Goblins

- A female Ettin

- Female Lycanthropes

All preferably made to be able to tie in with the male counterparts, but also enough different sculpts to be able to have an all female tribe (like 4-5 female Orcs, not just 1 female Orc shaman to support the guys).

l  Gates, doors, portcullises in various styles and sizes, open and closed

l  More altars, wells, shrines, and other distinctive dungeon dressing

l  Traps

l  Villagers with lots of personality

l  Wild and domestic animals

l  Wagons and carriages

l More Asian (especially Chinese) swordsmen and -women, sorcerers, assassins, and any heroes and villains one might see in a Kung Fu movie (a Bride with White Hair, jiang-shi, a tree demon like the one from A Chinese Ghost Story, and so on)

l Arabian Nights-inspired heroes and villains

l A "battle wagon"* as a traveling headquarters; maybe several varieties with platforms for the driver(s) and archers

l More classic witches and warlocks with brooms, the pointy hats, and all the rest

l More and various plant and fungus creatures

l More clockwork automatons

l Teenage and child heroes

l More unusually tall, short, fat, or skinny heroes (not a dwarf dwarf, for example, but a little person dwarf)

l More freaky Mythos-like monsters, especially non-humanoid aberrations like the filth beast, desert thing, and Mashaaf

If they do more Lycanthropes, my vote would be a 3 stage lycanthrope. Human, animal and hybrid forms. Of both genders. Werewolf the apocalypse actually had 5 forms adding a big human form and a dire animal form, but I would be happy with the 3 stages. Something unique to tie the forms together, like a piece or armor, or a ribbon, or a braid that is represented in all three forms.

Wolf, Bear, Lion, Fox would probably be the most useful, but raven, bat, crocodile, etc would be nice as well.

Also more "monster" types in both male and female. Vampires, Mummies (but maybe with exposed faces), Fishmen, etc... Ghouls. I would like to see a lord and lady, a couple officer types and then mooks in melee and ranged varieties. Something useful for those using in armies or for RPG encounters.

I would like to see some "teen" types. to represent starting adventurers. Again both male and female. Hopefully in sensible dress or starting armor as befits a young adventurer.

carts, wagons, etc.... Maybe an apparatus of the Crab or apparatus of Kwalish type thing. Vampire coach.

Maybe a continuation of the Steampunk wizard of Oz stuff. More clockwork soldier types. Different armed scarecrows. Human sized mechanical soldiers actually would top my want list. Maybe with a musket or a long spear.

Arabian themed heroes/heroines/soldiers/monsters (giants/ogres etc in Arabian or Indian themed armor)

An old school lever...No one has done any levers and its badly needed

Seconded and I would like to add a wheel like a ship's wheel, that could also be mounted on walls as part of puzzles.

This is the current thread for Bones minis we would like to see.

* As the compiler of the data in the thread, I have a request, please don't spend a lot of posts on off topic chatter in this thread, it makes my compiling harder.

* it would make compiling this into a list much. much easier if your post included a brief list of your request at the beginning and then you follow with the paragraphs of text you wish to explain your requests. When clear items are not easily found, they may not make the list that gets forwarded.

* Warlord Game expansions that is requests for specific models for Warlord are encouraged to be made in the Warlord Forums. Warlord Models are part of Game Development and not part of Fantasy Line Development.

Off Topic Chatter and general sillyness will be removed.

thank you.
