Nicely done!

I'm looking at your tags, these are from the warhammer line?

They belong to the Space Wolves (40K).

Yes, that is right. Fenrisian Wolves. Space Wolf line, 40k.

I will use them for my vampire counts, though, as I like these better than the normal ones.

Well done!

I'm a fan of painting Fur. It just seems to have a margin for error that allows a lot of personality to shine through.

I'm really digging the fur. Nicely done, indeed!

Are these Finecast? I have a pair of the Finecast cyber-wolves, which appear to be the same sculpts with some tech-chunks added, and I had to install metal pins to support the mini on the single leg contact points. Wondered if its just mine, or the minis in general.

It's not finecast (that I know). They are very cheap, so I don't think they are at least. It was around 12$ for a pack of five.

Ah. At that price, definitely not the Finecast...my cyber wolves were more than $12 per...I would bet the regular GW plastic will hold its own weight a little better.

So, a coworker and fellow painter gave me a bunch of unwanted Warhammer Underworlds Shadespire minis, so uh... Guess that's mostly what you guys will be seeing from me in the near future!

As I'm just naturally inclined to orcs, and these guys look absolutely awesome, I painted Ironskull's Boyz first. Also, finally got my hands on some premade washes, so I ditched homemade watered down paints on these. Personally, I think it made 'em look pretty good!

The number of ants that tried to photobomb this shot was ridiculous.

The lighting on the individual shots was being weird, so sorry if some are darker and other lighter!

I've been trying to work on my encounters for Rangers of Shadow Deep.  Here's a bunch of randomness from that work!

      Oh, Rats!

We have: a Warhammer Quest rat, a Frostgrave Wizards II Rat Familiar, a Reaper Bones Rat Swarm, a Reaper Bones Rat Ogre, a Spawn Rat from Dark Platypus Studios, a Warhammer Skaven Giant Rat, and a Rat Mama 3D print from Crippled God Foundry.

      Oh, Bats!

A Bat Swarm from Reaper Bones.

      An Infestation of Spiders:

A Reaper Bones Cavern Spider, a Reaper Bones Spider Swarm, a man-faced spider that may be from Foundry, and a classic Warhammer Quest giant spider.

      Flies that are Giant:

One of the more unusual encounters in Rangers of Shadow Deep. I picked these up from the 40k Kill Team: Rogue Trader boxed set before there were official models.

This my orc warlord on a warg. It is a Nolzurs deep cuts orc on dire wolf miniature.
I did most of the painting in one day, I do need to touch up the base and redo the finish on the flag, but otherwise he is done.
I was aiming for a Hound of the Baskervilles look for the Warg.

Now he just needs an actual name besides Orc Warlord....
      Thanks for looking!

So, I heard Chaos Marauders are essential in Maggotkin of Nurgle armies in Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.  I prepped these guys for our planned league game that got delayed due to the pandemic.  At this rate, Sons of Behemat will be out before we can play.

I started a challenge so naturally I couldn't stay behind myself.
Meet Agent Anthrax, my first 3D print now painted for the challenge.

I figured he also deserved his own Show Off.
