Kaladrax

So I've been working on this guy pretty much all day, and I didn't do the crazy goblin thing using only a teeny tiny brush... And I still have so much to do...

At this point it's all dirty bone on the bones, and valiejo's red leather (2/3) walnut brown (1/3) on the 'fleshy' bits.

Ok, I've made some progress with the inking, and now I'm trying to decide how much highlighting I want to actually do, or if I want to stop here, and call it good and done (not counting the base).

Thoughts?

Love that pic with your Corgi, makes me chuckle every time I see it. You're doing a great job with ole Kally!

I'll be sure to get a finished Kally with the corgi.  ^_^  :;):

That is one patient dog. If you have the patience for a round of highlights, it would add some to the figure.

Highlighting and brown-lining between the vertebra continues... it's a slow slog. I also decided that the base wasn't working for me all grey, so I made it brown, with grey stones. It's a little more interesting looking I think. The next step is going to be adding the flocking and moss to hide the oversize treasure and skulls.

Seriously debating painting the eyes black.

I spy with my little eye, a bottle shape and partial label that look familiar!

The dire crocodile, dire boar, and dire crab were one of the Bones 4 addons, and it doesn't look like they've hit retail just yet. Which is a shame, because we need more giant crabs.

The mud on the dire crocodile's base is just some water effect goo dribbled on that half of the base. The barnacles attached to the rocks on the dire crab's base were sculpted with green stuff. The rocks... those are just rocks.

I'm looking for something to stick Bones, specifically Ma'al Drakar's terrain, to a wooden base. It's not thick enough, at the area I want to place it, to pin effectively.

What kind of adhesives would work? I'm thinking epoxy, maybe? I just /really/ don't want to melt it accidentally and have to buy a new one.

I just like the way the blue/black wings look.  - I did the same with the Librarian Sophie. (last month)
I really need to paint up one of the metal versions for contrast.
I'm not sure what she is serving - Meat, bread and salad is the way I painted it, but that could be cake instead.

Been wanting to paint this one for awhile. Love the dynamic pose! Really happy with this one.

Look at that winning smile!  He wants you to come for dinner....

I am sad to see the paint has rubbed off in some places, might have to try to patch that up by using some Reaper liner.
