Does anyone know what kind of plastic these are? I didn't see it listed, but may have missed it there is a lot to read.

AKA- are the like bones or hard like soda pop?

It's PVC like bones but, based off their past product, a stiffer mix.

Just realized that this is in CAD so $50 is more doable so here's hoping I can save for that behemoth (saving for minis is a new concept for me).

Yes, the material composition of the figures is definity of concern to the buyer. I've had enough of there companies acting like it's a trade secret. The material is something the buyer needs and deserves to know as it changes what paints will react with the plastic and what paint stripping agents won't melt the miniature.

The bases are hard PVC, while the miniatures are a softer PVC very much like Bones, but not as soft. I can throw a medium sized mini against the wall and pretty much only have to worry about the glue popping off a piece or the clear plastic post breaking.

You may need to score or pin the figure to the base as the base surfaces are very smooth. I'd recommend priming the unpainted minis before painting, we're going to try to pre-prime them on the assembly line, but they will come unassembled moving forward.
