mikem91
So, I think my education was sorely lacking in the magic and mystery of goblin math. I just can't wrap my head around this problem. Let's say I've got 20 minis, because I do. I buy about 20 minis a year. I paint about 20 minis a year. But I still add 20 minis a year to my queue. But when I count them all, I still only have 20. Is there a TED talk or something like that to explain the intricacies of goblin Math?
dsmiles
Goblin Math is very easy. You count 1 through 20. Then the next number is 20, and so is the next, and the next. And so on, and so forth, ad nauseum (and when counting with Goblins, nausea is a distinct possibility).
Mad Jack
I just can't wrap my head around this problem. The problem you're having is that you don't have a problem. You're just trying to comprehend Goblin math, when all you really need to do is just accept it. Drink the stanky-shoe-flavored Kool Aid, man. (And be glad you're not dealing with goblin physics.) (Also, you're going to live forever. Because when you run out of minis to paint, you die. But you're never going to run out, since you have 20 miniatures.) Flamehawke
Actually Buglips corrected me on this. He said 20 is also the minimum. Far as goblins are concerned math is easier if every number when counted is 20. So they made their math easy. There is only the number 20. At leas that is what he said when discussing it at some point
NomadZeke
Don't forget. All numbers are simultaneously 20 and not 20, while 20 may or may not be a real number, where any sums of anything are also 20, where as 20 is and is not simultaneously relative.

CashWiley
Interestingly, goblin math was the genesis of non-euclidean geometry. I once built a city based on it and it drove architects mad!
alchemist
Don't worry about it. You'll understand it after 20 minutes.

kristof65
I've suddenly come to the conclusion I want a goblin d20. Is there any place out there that sells a d20 with all 20s?

Longer answer: Yes, but might be easier to buy blanks and get them engraved.
buglips*the*goblin
I disbelieve the illusion of goblin math! But it's not an illusion, it's an abstract. Abstracts cannot be disbelieved, which is why I use a haunted Picasso to guard my front tunnel. Everyone who gazes upon it is sucked into it, to have their screams immortalized in frozen, mute cubist horror. Rhombus-faced, triangle-eyed Paladin's suffering is eternal.
