Edsterdoom
I have started this thread to gauge any interest in a UK/EU box of goodwill. This system works in the New World where contributors add to a box and post it around to each other in turn. People then select items from the box and add more to the box and send it on to the next person. This continues until it gets back to the originator. Can you respond if you have any interest, and are willing to put items into the box, depending on the response I will look to get a box started. Can people also list what sort of items they are interested in, are they predominantly painters or Wargames who are open to having basing, scenery and other items in the box. - edit 7/9/15 Ok so far we have 5 people who have signed up in order of interest. Edsterdoom UK alchemist UK Drifter UK Xherman Dutch Beagle UK -edit 19/9/15 current running order and status. 1) alchemist (starter) 2) Beagle (shipped) 3) Drifter (shipped) 4) Edsterdoom (shipped) 5) Xherman (shipped) 6) Ub3r_n3rd (shipped) 7) Thes Hunter (Shipped) 8) Tiniest rhombus (Shipped) Alchemist. (Box returned) Round 2 to start in the new year. US round 2 as follows. Marsya Oneboot to replace Redambrosia. (May add more people if interested) Choaswolf Edited November 9, 2015 by Edsterdoom
alchemist
I may be interested. I can certainly contribute a few items. Mainly I paint either for RPG use or for display. Scenery and basing stuff are fine as far as I'm concerned.
Drifter
I'm interested in this for sure, just... personal funds dependant at the time more than anything. Sounds fun though And yeah, same as Alchemist. I paint figures that I can either use for Pathfinder in some capacity, or that I just like in general. Scenery, basing, conversion stuff, all sound good to me too
Edsterdoom
Great stuff are you UK based or in the great Europe Area? Depending on how we do this we may be able to plan a route/order which is the most cost effective in terms of postage for everyone.
Glitterwolf
I could be interested, I live in the Netherlands. Can contribute some metal minis and or Bones. The only thing this will be my first time, so I might need some explaining how to go about this and what is acceptable / wanted in that box.
Drifter
Im in the UK. I don't think postage from UK to mainland Europe is too bad if I remember correctly, though it's been a while

ub3r_n3rd
I suggest setting a box size/weight limit since you will be crossing international borders and it may be more expensive to send from one country to another. You may also want to restrict things that would look "suspicious" to your postal services, such as powders and liquids. Really hope you all can get one started for the UK/EU and have fun with the rest of us! Edited August 14, 2015 by ub3r_n3rd

In my head it's probably 5/6 after that it's a case of agreeing on a box size and miniature scale (i have 28mm, 1:72 and 15mm mostly and adding stuff to a box.

The other boxes are between 5-9 people each. Really as long as you have 5+ you should be good to go. We did a simple "anything hobby-related miniatures (just nothing huge or heavy), basing materials, conversion bits, and modification parts." Keeping it light and easy is the best way really.

kay13
Good luck! I was lucky to participate last time with a hand delivered box when Kangeroorex visited Australia..... Lots and lots of fun!
Dilvish the Deliverer
It's too bad that my international travel is so sporadic and short notice, or I could work out a way to hand carry a ox from the States over there.

Hand-carrying an ox might be cheaper than shipping it, but I doubt it would be easier, lol... Edited August 16, 2015 by Mad Jack

Thanks for the offer but these days I am sure luggage space is a premium.
