Well I am happy to post it to The Netherlands and so if we want to do the UK first and then send it to Xherman at the end and support the cost of the U.S. postage.

BTW XHerman do you have paypal? As that would make it easier to support the postage costs.

So as a suggested order I would suggest the following:

1) alchemist

2) Beagle

3) Drifter

4) Edsterdoom

5) Xherman

6) US not sure who yet :)

If people are happy the box could go back through everyone again to see what new goodies have been added and finally ending up back with alchemist.

If we private message the person and provide update on when we post and when it arrives we should be able to do get this up and running.

Does that sound good?

Hey,

Yes I have Paypal.

Just tell me who to PM by then.

So just to be sure, be gentle it's my first time, weight max 2kg then?

Pick what you want and replace with stuff equally heavy?

Only Metals or do some people like Bones too?

So I'll be the one shipping to the USA.

USA from the Netherlands can take up to three or four weeks sometimes.

I will label it as a gift and please when returning overseas do that too or customs might have a party with it.

Edit: Communial painted mini? When finished sent to Edsterdoom for organizing this. ?

If sending to the U.S. is ok with you? The plan was to donate to support the cost.

We could do a communal paint of a model as well. Probably need to pack it seperately so people don't get confused with it.

I sold many things through Ebay and send it to the States, so no problem.

Only thing is, do we insure that one?

And I'm willing to donate a few euro myself of course.

All in good fun.

Maybe put a little note in with the communial mini?

I got Beagle's address.  Boxes are being rummaged.  I have a lot of boxes.

Any more thoughts about a communal painting mini?  I don't have any strong opinion about whether we should do one or not.  If we do one I'd suggest a Bones model, since it is likely to be more resistant to wear and tear during transport.

A few possibilities that I've picked out because they have a fair number of different areas to paint:

Oswald the Overladen

Friar Stone

Ezren, Iconic Wizard

Alain

Damiel, Iconic Alchemist

I'm happy to entertain other suggestions.  Or just say don't bother with the communal paint.

I'm not really up for the community painting, I have more then enough that I already can't get done

I won't mind a communial piece.

Although my workbench is loaded.

I leave it up to you guys.

One question. Do we need to change the box every now and then?

I mean we will need to remove older postage labels and such,If it get too confusing it might be in order to repack.

How have you been doing this before?

For the boxes here in the US, we've generally used the same box unless it's too beat up to go on. The post office just slaps a new label on over the old one. I don't know how well or even if that would work for you folks though, what with at least 2 different countries involved.

On a side note, I'm glad to see this is taking off for you guys; have fun!!

Yes, the box only needs replacing if it is no longer fit for purpose.  Make sure that old labels are removed or covered.

I think we'll skip the communal painting on this occasion.  Most of us seem pretty ambivalent about it, and it would probably take ages for me to get my backside into gear and start it anyway.

I've probably spent about 8 hours over the last couple of days sorting through my collection.  Man, it's scary in there.  I've been finding minis that I have no recollection of ever seeing before.  I started a pile of figures that I was intending to send, and a second pile of figures that I might send if the first pile wasn't big enough.  The first pile went into the box and weighed in at over 2 kg. So I had to cut back a bit.  I reduced it to about 1.6 kg to allow other folks a chance to expand on it a bit if they want to.

There is, I think, a pretty eclectic selection of stuff going in, some of it quite old. Hopefuly there will be something to interest everyone. I have not put any Bones in since everyone seems pretty well stocked up with those already.

And so the box is pretty much ready to go.  Unless there is some reason to delay, I should be able to mail it later this week.
