What's on TV?

Sadly all of Dr Who has been removed from Amazon Prime streaming.  so the answer to when will my family get to see the 11th season is never.

It really feels like the golden age of streaming is dead.

I don't do streaming myself, but it is my understanding that Doctor Who is, or will soon be, available on the new Britbox service.

I just finished up season 4 of the Expanse last night - that was awesome.  We need more sci-fi on TV like that.

Imagine my shock when I went to watch S4E1 and realized that I'd somehow never watched S3? I honestly have no idea how that happened! I'd planned on catching up while I was off work for the holidays, but I spent all of my free time playing Guild Wars instead. At least I've got something to watch over lunch at work for the next month.

At least that's one of those pleasant surprises.

"Oh well, I have a whole additional season to watch now!"

Oh, man.  I hope the amazing ending of season 3 wasn't spoiled for you, but I suspect it was

Nope, I must have skimmed that post so I'm safe. And now I know not to go back and look!

I know who Terry Pratchett is and that he wrote these books, I have absolutely no familiarity with the material beyond that.  I get everyone's concern, but I think it sounds kind of interesting.

Well I finished The Expanse yesterday and WOW!  I loved it! S3 was some of the best scifi I've ever watched. And while I didn't think S4 was as good I wanted the last 6 episodes in a 16-hr span, which isn't something I usually do. So it must have been good. :)

I just caught up on season 2 of Britannia - a show so bonkers it's almost brilliant.

I totally agree.  season 3 was terrific

Book 4 was also the worst book, but by the end of the season it was rolling along.

- i didn't find the villian nearly as dumb/irritating as I did when reading it.

Book 5 was way better.  I cant wait.
