What's on TV?

I read Watership Down a few years ago just because I couldn't remember anything about it except that it creeped me out as a kid. I watched the Netflix version with my younger son (12 years old). He kind of liked it but kept saying, "That's so morbid!" I liked it too but have to agree with him.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I just finished Norsemen on Netflix. Watched it without reading what it was about, just thought "hey more Vikings." Totally wasn't what I expected. Haven't laughed that hard in years.

Got that on my watch list but haven't seen the second season yet. Right now I'm watching Ice Fantasy. I didn't realize it was 60 40 minute episodes when I started. That's going to take a few days to get through.

On the plus side, it can help a winter snap cold go by faster.... ^_^

Hooooly holly, have y'all seen Goblin Slayer?

Y'all need to see Goblin Slayer

I'd given it a couple of episodes, wasn't for me.

Although I think that's more down to me being fed up with fantasy anime that's either heavily RPG influenced or literally 'people get sucked into an RPG', than the show itself.

Been watching 2 new shows from Rooster Teeth (the ppl behind Red vs Blue).  Crunch Time has been airing on the El Rey network and is pretty funny. Then they've got a new animated mecha series that's web-only on their site/app named Gen: Lock. I've only seen the first episode of that one. Just noticed that there's 2 more out so I'll have to watch them tonight.

Russian Doll. - netflix

binged it in two days.

It is terrific.  Characters wander through philosophy and metaphysics while trying to solve real problems they are having.

plus time loop shenanigans

I always love a good time loop, and it changes often enough to avoid repetition

I watched Stargate the other night and now find myself binging SG-1. First time watching straight through, dunno why it clicked all of a sudden but I'm enraptured. Home sick with a cold and have watched almost to the end of season three in the last five days lol. Good times.

Interesting to hear about Russian Doll, was trying to decide whether to queue it up or not.
