I'd like to see some WWII Allied (esp. Russian) and Luftwaffe pilots in flight suits.

How about a Tomoe Gozen figure?  She was a historical female samurai from the late 12th century.  A figure in period armor and wielding a Naginata (as she is often depicted) would be sweet!

 

Another historical idea would be some Aztec Jaguar Warriors or Eagle Warriors.  These fighters were considered elite warriors and wore colorful and elaborate costumes that would be a lot of fun to paint.

The current license holders might be a bit on the paranoid side and Reaper is a way too visible target.

Besides, there's already a lot of Dr. Who minis out there, both unlicensed (not-xxxxx stuff) and ex-licensed.

There's even a Dr. Who mini out there with deerstalker(the hat Sherlock Holmes wears) and magnifier.

(I know. I have minis from the first, to the 8th, plus the one from the 1966 movie)

 

Pilots; don't forget that both the US and the Russians had women working as pilots.

In the US they transported planes, but the Russians even had an operational squadron crewed with women.

Hmm, I'd like to see, perhaps, some characters from anime like Sword Art Online, Log Horizon, or the like. (I'd really love to see some from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha.)

No weapons for the doctors, but a certain screwdriver or similar gizmo could be useful. And wacky sunglasses, bow-ties, trench coats, etc for the respective doctors. :) 

 

Dr. Who is a bit overdone. But for adventurers that muck up space and time I would strongly recommend Valerian and Lareline. It just so happens that there is a Valerian movie that is coming out next month (July) . http://valerianmovie.com/

A fantasy or steampunk vardo (caravan wagon) would be a GREAT model, and would serve as a great customization base to make a "food wagon" as per the referenced cartoon ... or else the home of a mysterious fortune teller and seller of magical wards and talismans, or perhaps hang some posters off of it and have a few of these as part of a fantasy circus caravan (a circus ... OF DOOM!).  Or, add some techno bits to it and turn it into a steampunk horseless carriage, etc.  It's the sort of thing I could probably kit-bash from cardstock (if only I could find a good source of wagon wheels), but I could also imagine some great decorative details to make it all the more visually interesting and fun to paint up.

I want to add a "me too" to all the suggestions for retro Sci-Fi characters inspired by stuff ranging from the old serials (Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Commander Cody and the rest) up to the 1960s (Star Trek, Lost in Space, Forbidden Planet), and retro robots and aliens to go with them.

 

I'd also like to see pulp villain types to match the Call of Cthulhu investigators, cowboys, and similar pulp heroes - Moriarty-like criminal masterminds, Bond Villain master spies, mad scientists of every stripe, a Fu-Manchu/Ming the Merciless type character, a "Most Dangerous Game" hunting villainous big-game hunter, unethical explorer/fortune-hunter, evil hypnotist, mad magician, not-Rasputin, not-Dr. Phibes, the greedy fat-cat industrialist....

 

I wouldn't normally touch superhero RPGs, but thought the pulp superhero types (not-Shadow, for example) were some great characters, and I could definitely find uses for them, and I bet all sorts of other pulp adventurers, "golden age" masked vigilantes, and even traditional caped superhero types would work quite well in a variety of games outside the superhero genre (science fiction, fantasy, horror, etc.), with little or no conversion work.  Not-Tarzan, not-Doc Savage, not-Jungle Jim, not-Rocketeer, etc....  I wouldn't complain about finding a bunch of these mixed in with the fantasy stuff in a Bones Kickstarter reward!

 

I wouldn't mind seeing more Cthulhu investigator type characters from different eras - from Gaslight to 1920s to Modern.  I think the ones in the last Kickstarter look like they could be quite versatile, easily repurposed into civilians in fantasy and other kinds of games, or adventuring heroes in games other than 1920s Cthulhu (I think many of them would work fine alongside some of the cowboys and zombie hunters from earlier Kickstarters.)  I love these sorts of flexible multi-use characters!  I'd bought a couple copies of the "Not-Shadow" character, and on one of them swapped his automatic handguns for swords from a fantasy miniature, and turned him into a cool-looking fantasy rogue, and he's not the only "modern" Chronoscope or CoC character that such a conversion to a different genre can be done with.

 

I'll also second the great suggestions from the folks asking for more ambiguous characters from various ages, guys and gals in street clothes and nondescript uniforms who might be spies, gangsters, private detectives, undercover cops, ghost hunters, generic thugs, FBI agents, men-in-black, working-class monster-hunters, time-traveling companions, apocalypse survivors, civilians, and so on... especially if they can serve a variety of different purposes (the same hardboiled guy in a fedora and rumpled trenchcoat could as easily be a villain or hero or civilian of a variety of professions from almost any time in the 20th century, for example). 

 

Sprues of non-fantasy parts for customization - vintage/modern/futuristic weapons, gadgets and gizmos, flashlights, books (might be a detective's notebook, might be a spellbook, might be an evil tome), hats, briefcases and handbags....

@YronimosW, have you looked in the chronoscope line yet? I know there's a few of the things you mentioned, like a not-Shadow, many cowboys, a guy who would make a great Indiana jones. If you search for conversion parts there's a hat sprue and various modern and futuristic weapon sprues. 

 

There's also a number of cowboy and western style minis in the savage worlds line.

More NPCs.  I know that's a little vague, but it's one of the biggest things I turn to reaper minis for. Yeah that means Reaper already makes some, but more never hurts!  Medieval, Victorian/steam punk, modern, I have use for them all thanks to my R.P.G. A.D.D.  Seriously, I'd buy a mini just called "some guy in t-shirt and jeans".

What I'd really love to see ... would be some world-building around Chronoscope.  I mean, yeah, I know, it's a generic miniatures line with everything but the kitchen sink.  There's no over-arching story that puts the anime heroines in the same universe as the Space Marshal and the IMEF troopers and the German zombies and the killer clown and the greys and on and on and on.  ;)  But it'd be fun to see someone TRY.

 

Maybe a Savage Worlds mini-adventure (or pick some other quasi-generic RPG system) featuring a rag-tag mix of IMEF specialists and perhaps some other random survivors of a disaster on an interplanetary passenger ship that's been boarded by some enemy (Kulathi? Bathalians? Cyber-Reavers?  Or perhaps servant androids that have been hacked and turned into killing machines, as represented by the Anime Heroine models?).  Now they have to reach the bridge and adjust its course so it doesn't crash into a planetary colony (with bonus points for escaping alive).

 

Or, the various "space pulp" hero types might be characters in a retro-rockets-and-rayguns adventure, with adversaries picked from among the cheesier of Chronoscope's offerings.  (Ape X would make a great master villain.  But then, so would the Brain-in-a-Jar.)

 

Or, in a post-apocalyptic world that might or might not bear resemblance to certain franchises, the PCs are a bunch of survivors thrown together by circumstance, hitting the lair of a group of cutthroat mutant raiders and scavvies in a bit to rescue some loved ones who are going to be on the cannibalistic buffet if they dally for too long.  Depending upon the type of apocalyptic world, a few nasty critters (scarab swarm as roach swarm, giant scorpion, etc.) from other parts of the Reaper line might fit in as special encounters on the way.

 

Or, some sort of time-period-not-specified secret-agent adventure with spies and villainous masterminds and assorted minions (best focused upon those from the Bones Chronoscope line, for maximum affordability -- e.g., a swarm of Ninjas or of Nine Suns Henchmen).

 

It'd be pretty easy to do a genre-mashup, too.  Secret Agents vs. Alien Invaders.  IMEF troopers vs. space-borne Z-Plague outbreak.  Cowboys vs. Al-- er, I mean, ROBOTS.  :)

 

It'd be nice to have a little bit of "mythos" built up around some of the models -- even if, as fairly generic models, it's totally legit if people have something very different in mind when they buy them.  I'm particularly intrigued by the IMEF.  If anyone managed to write up a setting that gave the Anime Heroines a sensible home and a unified theme, I'm sure it'd be entertaining to read about as well.
