Oh I see! Everyone is over HERE! I was wondering why it was so quiet over in the comments section on the project.   All the sculpts are now finished, photographed, videoed, and packaged to ship to

A comprehensive list of links is included on the "About Me" page of my blog. I have sculpted for almost 40 different clients in the gaming and miniatures industry over my 10-year career.   http://ww

I may have had a slight falling down... I was doing great until I realised the Bomb Kit let me add older Babes. Then I may have gotten a little extra-enthusiastic. Also I realised I needed extras of Mythga and Qadira. And of course I couldn't give up the others I'd decided I was getting. I at least managed to keep it within the realm of reason... more or less... :ik_oops:

I experienced a couple of the hiccups mentioned in the new update. I emailed Bombshell last night and Patrick sent me an email this morning confirming my order and that the issues were being resolved.

well purchase complete.  2 sets of babe packages, an elf on a raptor, a rocket racoon, a jackalope, and a lawyer (cobra sidekick)  will make this an interesting batch of babes to paint.  Happy to support them and cant wait until they are in my hands!

I stuck to my original $60 (mostly). I went a little bit over with the raptor, but it worked out.  ^_^ I was really pleased they let you add pre-existing babes, I had three choices that I wasn't sure about, but I filled them with older minis.

Can't lock in until I get paid.

New job made it sound like I would get paid on the 30th of nov, ends up they didn't enter everything on time so I am going over 3 weeks without a paycheck, very annoying around the holidays.

This one has been on the desk for a long time. I really like the sculpt, but the cast is a pain as I find most of the older human sized Bones models. The Face was atrocious. Luckily he has a big hat. The photos are washed out but give a good idea of how he looks. He is too shiny for my tastes as the newer Testors Dullcote doesn’t seem to work as good as it used to. Unsure how I ended up going from a coal black duster to green, other than I had too much green paint out for the Marines I was trying to get off the shelf of shame.

It would be nice to think about cyberpunk utopias, but somehow those just don't grip the popular imagination. Instead it's always overcast or raining, the sky is brocced, corporations own everything and everyone and surveillance is ubiquitous. There's money to be had, but barely enough to buy noodles unless you're connected...or willing to ignore corporate law.

Devo Ranks eats the *fancy* noodles every day. They have Skillz.

      Click for more angles.

Hacking into a Public Service Panopticon? CHILD'S PLAY.

If you need muscle? Devo Knows A Guy. Or lady, really.

Don't worry, Dez! Those cameras are showing nothing but innocuous looped footage now.

No one pays the cleaners enough in the cyberpunk dystopian future.

I won't pretend to understand what kind of cyber-heist these three are conducting.

But you can be sure they have made Powerful Enemies, as well as enough credits to afford the FANCY noodles for the rest of the year!

Devo is a fun one. Gender-ambiguous and tech-savvy. Because cyberpunk is inextricable from the late 80s and early 90s, I gave Devo the most day-glo Nickelodeon counterculture wardrobe I could think of. Dez from Bombshell we have seen before, in the post-apocalyptic Radlands, as well as the little sniper from Crooked Dice.

The Public Service Panopticonnouncer was made from  SD card placeholders and chunks of expired credit card, along with I think a vape component. The text, like much of the signage on the building, comes from a beer can label artfully chopped into pieces and rearranged into vaguely menacing advertisements. Also some sprue and all the camera-looking Bitz and Gunz in my Bitz Box.

I don't have any cyberpunk setting or games planned, but I can feel the itch growing. C&C welcome.

I know there are a few folks that do Bolt Action and similar 28mm wargaming (@buglips), so I thought I'd bounce this out there.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tftb/world-war-ii-soviet-railroad?ref=discovery_recommendations

      Story
Railroads are an important means to transport troops, equipment, ammunition and all other kinds of supply to the front. Especially in a country as vast as the Soviet Union with it's endless steppes, only few reliable roads and no major rivers running in the direction of the German advance during Operation Barbarossa in World War II.
With this set of detailed buildings and rolling stock in 1/56 scale for 28mm figures you get the opportunity to recreate the crucial fighting around the Soviet railroad system.
The kits focus on the major pieces of rolling stock available to the Soviet defenders: box cars, gondola cars and flat cars. And the mighty ALCo RSD-1 Diesel Engine which was made available under the US Lend-Lease Act.
Also included is a typical rural train station with optional additional platforms for all who want to depict a Soviet - or captured German - supply depot, where heavy equipment like tanks and guns are being unloaded.
And for all of you looking for an armored train - don't worry! We have you covered.
        Talking about railroad tracks:
We did not see the need to reinvent the wheel, so all kits are designed to be used with
4Ground Railroad Tracks (available as add-ons to the Kickstarter) or O Gauge Model Railroad Tracks The kits include optional parts enabling you to choose your favorite system while assembling. Going this route has allowed us to concentrate on designing and producing the rolling stock only, which has the advantage of an earlier fulfillment date for the Kickstarter.
All models are highly detailed on the outside and inside. The interiors are easily accessible, as roofs are removable. In addition, all doors are moveable, which means you can open or close them during gameplay.

A warrior woman of the wastelands, the mohawked Dez is a formidable figure. Where does she even get hair color and makeup in the Irradiated Zones? She's not telling, other than to say "If it was easy, I'd send a man to do it." Also, she's a deadly shot with a wrist crossbow.

      More pix:

Here she is with a few of her pals (Wasteland Maelee, also Bombshell, and a Crooked Dice survivor).

More than a match for the average mutant horror.

and a credible threat even to above-average horrors!

      ENDS 8PM BST 14TH APRIL

Hi Chums! Sorry I left it so late to post, I have been ill the whole Kickstarter! Just scrambling now in the last few hours - despite this though it's going brilliantly!
      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/badsquiddogames/women-of-ww2-soviet-russia-28mm-miniatures

We are close to the last stretch goal now - an adoring fan for our guitar player! Yes you heard that right!

      Unlocks have been:
      Winter Tank Riders Pack A
      Winter Tank Riders Pack B
      Winter Tank Command
      Winter Tank Hunters
Dzhulbars the Mine Hunting German Shepherd with handler
Kneeling Sniper Team in snow suits
      Lyudmila Pavlichenko
      Anti Tank Rifle Team
      Traffic Controllers
      Winter Advancing Command
      Dancers
      Guitarist

The Eastern Front is obviously a very grim setting, and whilst fascinating to research, it can get very heavy! This range has a much less jolly feel than the last load of Home Front British miniatures, for obvious reasons (being more front line based) but I wanted to add some endearment in there to make people smile. And when I research these projects, the people definitely make their way into my heart through the memoirs and photographs. So I'd like them to be having a bit of fun.

So far we have the accordion player and dancers, and these will fit brilliantly with them to make a nice camp fire diorama (check out our camp fires too!).

      Cheers all!
