Derek Schubert's (dks's) Pathfinder Society characters 2: Ayano

Nearly two years after I started a thread for showing off the figures of my Pathfinder Society characters, I present the second figure.

This is Sister Ayano, a kitsune archer (level 8 now: paladin 5 of Shelyn / zen-archer monk 3).

I did some extensive conversion to the elf archer Caerwynn, from the Warlord line.

You may have noticed the concept art for two kitsune figures in the "Eastern Legends" stretch-goal from the recent Bones III Kickstarter.  I'll be sculpting those two.  So if you like the way Ayano the kitsune looks and you wish Reaper made others figures like her ... well, you're in luck (sort of).

Derek, I'm so glad you're rectifying the situation.

 

It just seems so many kinds of wrong for a painter/sculptor or your caliber to play unpainted minis all the time.

Reviving this old thread... 

I've been sweeping away the artistic cobwebs in 2021 by painting figures that have been lying prepped but unpainted in my cabinet.

 

So here is the human form of the kitsune archer that I painted five-plus years ago. 

I briefly considered using a different color scheme (such as reversing the reds and greens) but kept it simple by using the same one.  My style and sense of contrast are a little different.  I used some pink on her base, for example.

 

 

 

 

And the two together at last.
