BadgersinMeadows
Well, I ordered some Bretonnian Knights of the Realm, and wanted to make them work as knights next to some Perry miniatures. So I came here and would like some help.
TGP
They might be bulkier than the Perry Miniatures. Or not. GW minis are kinda bulked up but I have no idea what style (scale/bulk/aesthetic) the Perrys are turning out currently. I think a lot of Bretonnian models from around 5th edition Warhammer WERE Perry sculpts. Did you order current issue KoR or some from eBay? If you assemble the knights in stock condition they will look like they are kitted out for a jousting tourney. Trimming things away like helmet crests will go a long way toward making them look like Frankish knights on crusade. malefactus
The G.W., as TGP mentioned, may be a bit larger than the Perry miniatures. Here's a long, scale comparison article from L.A.F. that you might find useful: http://www.lead-adventure.de/index.php?topic=10500.0 The only other issue with the G.W. pieces is the raised shield patter in the four quarters of the horse's caparison. It should be fairly easy to sand off, but it may take a bit of your hobby time to accomplish. At any rate, WELCOME ABOARD! HAVE A FUN STAY!
Heisler
The Perry's historical sculpts tend to be slimmer than the work they did for GW. I don't think they are going to be a good mix but its hard to say until you have them in your hands.

Use the GW KoR as the ennobled knights mounted on huge Clydesdale-scale warhorses. Use the Perry models for squires, men-at-arms, retainers and other retinue who, if mounted, would be on less impressive steeds.

BadgersinMeadows
I ordered some Perry English archers for a size comparison. Hopefully that works out.
BLZeebub
Any way to mix and match their bits so that no particular model looks larger en total than the others? Just my twopence, as a knifanatic!
Glitterwolf
In real life not every man is the same height. So mixing them and like BLZeebub says, mixing gear too should work.
