My three bases showed up today!

Had you gotten any notification prior that they would?

 

I am disappointed that the last update was just restating they were going to retail eventually (some day...) Was hoping for confirmation that they are actually in process of making them. But sounds like they must be if you got yours?

They did update to say they'd been sending out parcels, a few weeks ago. I assume if they'd run into snags and stopped we'd have heard

Do they look about the same as the Basius2 pads? I remember reading about some kind of changes but I don't remember what it was.

I was under the impression that 2.5 stamps were the same as the 2.0 stamps and that this Kickstarter was to fund production and shipping in a better way or something. 

 

That being said, what do you guys suggest to use with these? Green Stuff? Milliput? And with what - water? Some kind of oil? I plan to try and use mine in the next few days.

I read somewhere someone suggested Vaseline with milliput. I'll be looking into it more when I get mine.

 

I think with green stuff you can just use it (probably with water).

One side of the Urban pad was resculpted. Otherwise, the pads are the same as Basius 2.

In case anyone else is still waiting (like I am ) I just checked on the comments of the KS and they said they're on track to have everything sent out by December 18th. So some of us may still have quite a while to wait. (Well, quite a while by the standards of impatient people jealous that others already have their toys )

4 days left until they are supposedly done shipping. Nothing for me yet, but fingers crossed it's before Xmas! I am taking the week after off and would be a good time to experiment and get some baseing done.
