Q24: I have an alarm clock that plays an obnoxiously loud sound.  Of course, all sounds are obnoxiously loud at that ungodly hour.

Hubby, cat, or hungry stomach (my own, that is). Most of the time Hubby wakes me up.

Birdsong...well it's actually the radio...which is set to BBC Radio 4, my alarm is set to 6am so I'm usually greeted with the 'Tweet of the day'   .

When I need to get up early, I set my alarm.

 

...Then my brain wakes me up an hour earlier to make sure I don't miss it going off.

I usually wake up a half hour before I am supposed to anyway.

If I fail to do so, a cat will come and sit on me and attempt to send me a message in braille. With his claws.

And if that fails to do it, the alarm clock blasts out the local radio station chatter, and the cat peeling out in a flurry of blades on my naked flesh will certainly do the job.

usually my bladder wakes me 2-3 hours before I need to get up, though I do keep my alarm clock set and it has an extremely loud alarm.  the alarm startles the cat, who then claws my leg that she sleeps on and I'm awake.

usually wakes me up: upstairs neighbor being a jerk.

Question for September 23rd: Minis with clear acrylic bases (no basing, the table top shows through) —a great idea? —a horrid idea? —do you have some?

 

Great idea for many games, but I don't have any. Would be great for my Arcadia Quest minis.

Cat wakes me up too early, I have to get up 2-3 hours before actually waking to feed him.

 

Then it's a quiet alarm I snooze a lot until my phone plays some music that I've programmed by day (Monday is Working Man by Rush, for instance).

Q23: I don't have any but I'm not adverse to them. They serve a purpose just as a display base does.

 

Q24 regular alarm clock wakes me up around 1115 pm most every night. Cell tells me to get my butt out of bed at 1130 pm. Some sorta "icicle dancing" song...it was annoying so I thought it ideal.

 

As far as Pf vs 5e. While I'm in the Pf camp I do like what I've seen from 5e. Hell I just wish I had a local group playing something.

Radio alarm, annoying cell phone beep, other cell phone going off in other room.

 

Why yes, I do have an issue getting moving in the morning.  Why do you ask?

Alarm. Backup is, literally, rooster. There are wild chickens everywhere in this state, including my apartment complex.
