September 2015 Goals

How is it September already? Not sure how much I'll get done again this month, another busy one, including vacation (FINALLY, my 1st since last Sep).

 

More work on Seza

Start work on JB trooper

Base Gwen

Prep RH plastic/metal comparison

I will be on vacation, but away so I won't be painting

But Labor Day weekend is this weekend so an extra day!!!

 

Goal- Buy Seza while on vacation and finish her before Cash.

 

 

Edit to add: Hopefully my Red Box Game order arrives early this month, I would like to at least get some of them primed and based. So probably spend a weekend getting some minis ready to paint.

September Goals (much the same as August):

• Paint 3 figures and display base for a small Fall Exchange vignette - DONE!
• Paint 2 figures for an on-the-side exchange with the theme of "Choose your Champion"
• Paint and Modify female dwarf for D&D group member - DONE!
• Work a bit on Draco the Barbarian for my 54mm+ challenge
• Work on the Catacombs Barbarian for fun.
• Still pick away at my brother's diorama, I'm waiting on the spiders I had commissioned to be finished casting up to get to me, but not in a huge hurry as I still need to finish up Catti-Brie and the basing before I can even add the spiders to the piece.

I'm feelin the urge thou unlike previous months this year. Haven't touched a model since June (really need to finish my son's Camaro) & gaming other then what I need for my pbps I've only looked through a couple of Pathfinder modules, planning out what I need for those. I'm not worried about those as those are 1+ year away from running em. .

 

I just need to push through this "No hobbies" mood I'm in right now.

I'm not really sure what I want to paint this month.  I'm currently working on a Reaper giant, so I've got that to finish, but no concrete plans beyond.  I do know I don't want to do a second consecutive "shelf of shame" month because last month reminded me of why some of them ended up on the shelf in the first place.

 

I've had a Gwen sitting in a box since Cash started his.  At the rate he's going I could prep paint and base it before he finally finishes his up...

As usual, things came up and most of my August list is still not done even though I got 8 other minis complete and re-based over 100 28mm Napoleonic minis.   So my list for September is what I didn't get done in August.  At least 3 & 4 are cleaned and ready to prime...

 

3 Paint the Family of Blood all done 9/27 

4 Paint Prof. Smith,maid Martha, Joan, and the armed schoolboys and a regular Martha Jones   Smith & Joan done 9/27

5 Start on some SAGA Vikings for the Southern Front raffle

6 Finish Thundar and Ariel for the CROM game

7 Perhaps add a few Neverborn to my Malifaux crews  9/15 added 2x waldgeist, 9/27 2x Bloodwretches, Tuco, Angel Eyes 9/28
