CashWiley
I've already run a few lantern years. I think I have one hunt before the Butcher shows up, or that might be my current year, I forget. It's been a few days. I pretty much opened it up and started playing :) I am really enjoying it. I've had to keep the foot elevated, thus little paint or game time (and my insanity point gain). Tomorrow I see the ortho, so hopefully he gives me good news and I can spent a couple days painting before I go back to work.
MonkeySloth
Here's hoping. I ran it last night with 6 people, which makes it crazy, and we TPKed, as well as pretty much complete settlement wiped, doing a level 2 lion as our third hunt. Got really close as pretty much me and a buddy got it down to 3 HP before we died. That's after starting out with just 4 of the 6 (two died during the hunt) and two others dying really quickly at the start of the showdown. Might play again Wednesday so I've gone ahead and assembled the starter stuff.
Corporea
That game is lethal! I love the skintones. The gray on the cloth is great!! Hope the foot heals quickly!
CashWiley
Back from the ortho; needs pins, so this is going to go on for a while. Boo! Gotta study for my Spanish class tonight, but hopefully some paint time tomorrow. Back to work on Thurs, so I want to at least get one done...
KruleBear
Sympathies...but the painting looks good. I like the pale skin base coat on theguy on the left in the earlier post. Interested to see how it plays out when finished.

MonkeySloth
Sucks to hear but it's better to get the pins then to have a foot that will never feel right, and probably have loss of movement, after the bones heal.
CashWiley
Exactly. Have an old friend who has been dealing with a bad foot for over a year and it probably will never heal because she keeps pushing it. Then a woman in class tonight was asking me about my procedure because she chickened out and it still hurts her many years later. It might still ache on a cold rainy day, but I'm going to do my best to make it right!
Corporea
Be safe!! Positive thoughts for your surgery. And make sure to show us what you paint on percocet!
CashWiley
6 pins in my big toe, woohoo! But a honkin' big cast, the ortho was an old school caster, I guess. Straight out of 1975. So I'm on crutches and can't really carry my paint stuff into the living room. I'll have to make a paint station somewhere or I'll lose my mind! Anyway, thanks for the well-wishes everyone, hopefully next update will have some actual, you know, WIP stuff...
ub3r_n3rd
Get feeling better soon, Cash! Looking forward to seeing more of your work sooner rather than later.
Bathory
When my hubs had 9 teeth pulled prior to getting braces they gave him Percocet. I can't tell you the side effect (fam friendly) but it was very funny that he was miserable, had a bruised face and tight pants.
CashWiley
Don't like the pain meds, my pain tolerance > my nausea tolerance. Finally feeling pretty great today, so despite exceedingly limited movement ability I set up a paint station on the kitchen table. I can't move my brushes or minis, so I'll have to wait for my lady to come home and take care of that part of the move. Should be into painting tomorrow! I also made an appt with a sports medicine doc to try to get a better cast so I can move around. This no mobility stuff is old already!
Bathory
Ginger is a great and yummy natural anti-nausea fix. I have a powdered form I got at whole foods that is ginger lemon and can be put in cold or hot water. Works really well. Or in a quick fix ginger ale. I get motion sickness... I had to drink ginger to play through Borderlands... multiple times.
